I KNOW they will turn AWESOME!! Whole wheat truly brings out the flavors of cinnamon and apple. I tried baking those two with all purpose flour the result wasn’t that satisfying. So DO NOT SWAP! Another tip.. try to use yeast instead of baking powder. Here’s a hint how in this recipe. After you blended apples and egg pour in a glass bowl and place over steaming hot bowl of water and stir until the mixture warmed up enough then add a teaspoon of yeast and honey, mix and allow to bloom. After that carry on and roll out your dough and cut out the pieces and transfer onto the lined baking sheet, cover and allow it to rise for at least 30 minutes then carry on baking. Yeast also brings out the true flavors you added in a recipe unlike the chemical agent (baking powder) which usually leaves an unpleasat after taste not to mention lowering the taste of flavors you added. Texture will be caky but wholesome. Regards ✋🏻
