Don't compare TM2020 records to TMNF. 

Comparing that run by medicine to hefests A12 just proves they dont know alot about A12s setup and how insane his uberbug is. Flying somewhere with reactor to hit a small gap is surely impressive but pales in comparison. With reactor you can literally control your flight and the setup is alot easier than on A12 where the setup is harder and the uber is.. well.. an uber. Also the irony of calling you an average wirtual viewer. smh

Just getting an uber can take so much hours, but one that just fly into the finish takes a lot more. And even after that you need to get an uber that's low and fast, an uber as close as possible from the cp, A12 Wr by Hefest is WAY WAY more lucky to get than this yeet record.

Thanks for this video! Some people don't get how insane is the set up for the Uber on A12, I was one of them. Then I tried, and now I've been hunting this map for 1.5 year (556h in total) and I'm not even close to Hefest's time Imo it's literally easier to win the fucking lottery than getting the wr on A12, but even if I know that, I just can't stop playing, A12 is a fucking legendary map, with such a legendary history

I'm not saying Medicine's run was harder than Hefest, as I agree with you. However, I think saying "I got 71st" on this map is not a valid argument for a comparison. Altered Nadeo maps are severely less hunted (at least in my experience) compared to campaign maps. I'm not a great Trackmania player but I've been able to get a WR on a map (now 3rd world) on an altered Nadeo map. Compare that to maps in campaign for TM2020 and I'm ranked way lower on any comparable map. Again, I'm in agreement with you, I just don't see how placing well on a map that's most likely not as hunted as A12 is an accurate comparison.

i think the real difference in difficulty is the fact that ubers are very well-known and to a certain extent understood, whereas there are very few players who have learnt reactor. And the uber still is almost perfect for a uber, which we know is insane, whereas a reactor down cut like this could be easier than we think.

It doesn't annoy me that they have no clue, and think that this comes anywhere close to the A12 uber, but what annoys me that they aren't insightful even tho you have so much more hours than them. Also if you are a player that has actively played TMF and is interested in it, then they should certainly know you, and know that you are a also a FWO member. They will never reach what you achieved but they still stand strong on their dumb opinion.

I feel like this isn't exactly a great comparison since the maps are so differently hunted since the play count on an altered map is so much lower than a popular older map I'm not saying they are of equal luck or anything I just think this isn't a good way to demonstrate it

This seems a bit like you're gatekeeping trackmania. Not to say that you aren't 100% right about the amount of luck or dedication, but why attack this guy for being wrong about it? I think if you had explained your arguments initially instead of jumping in with an Ad Hominem argument, he probably would have been more open to seeing your perspective on it. The guy was probably just under the effects of Recency Bias, and maybe he didn't understand how hard an uberbug is, but I don't think it's worth berating him for that.
