🇷🇺 When travelling into the centre of Moscow by train early in the morning we did not see a ticket machine. It will be ok we thought, nobody will check our tickets...Wrong!
still dont understand why 03:10 you didnt just say you tossed the ticket after you got off the train because you didnt expect to need it again.... omg...
ANYWHERE: You get caught you have to pay the ticket price + fine. Period. No way around it. RUSSIA: You get caught you have to pay the ticket price + fine. Or you can turn around and look for other "options".
@@Dave_ja_vu it was a maximum fare on that line i think. often It's legal to buy a ticket in a machine to get out of a station, but it might be more expensive than a "real" ticket. And the security guy didn't have the authority to impose fines. So they weren't "caught" basically, there were no inspectors or transport police or whatever on their way
In the UK you usually just have to buy a ticket, only because there's been so many cutbacks that the chance of there not being a ticket office open on the station you came from is quite high, the conductor who checks tickets on the train can also sell you a ticket, they are supposed to fine you but they never do, if you are only going a few stops there's a good chance they won't make it to you in time and you can ride for free.
In Russia, there is a kind of infrastructure that allows you to save a little by ignoring some prohibitions and rules. The government and business destroy it sometimes, but people still restore it.
@@kiran-yz8io Exactly Russia is a soft on ticket fraud as England, where they also let you buy a normal priced single if caught with no ticket. £3 for a penalty fare, I'd take that if I were you.
@@XtreeM_FaiL Three times less is 236/3 = ~79 rubles = ~$1.26 USD. I assume you are not a native English speaker as it is commonplace knowledge that N times less than M = M/N
@DIORDOL VON GIOHEIM i don't think that ticketing machine takes any of your personal info so i doubt theres any way to trace the fine back to you; if you break a law and have to pay a fine to the police on the other hand, it's gonna be on your track record and you might not get a visa next time
@@welshe222 That was the entire point of my comment though I included the combined cost for both of them. And technically at the current exchange rate 236rub is 2.95gbp but who's counting? That's what Google says anyway.
@@idroolt6999 Your entire point is wrong tho.. Don't you even read what you type by ur own "admission" 236 rubles is 2.95gbp (from google), that in return does not equal 7 dollars and 50 cents lol
Sometimes you get to ask why are we( The West ) so antagonised with Russia? Bald is british and gets along with every russian he meets. And everyone is welcoming him , tries to help and tries to give him the best experience. Sometimes you ask yourself what is about with all politicians stirring conflict and turmoil.
As somebody else says, it comes down to money and power. People that ask why can bald get along with Russians but the west and the east have a power struggle do not understand how complex international politics are.
I think the problem was the fine, if the fines are too huge people will just avoid paying completely, a 150% ticket price would have been fair and probably have been paid!
Evading paying for tickets and then stealthily getting out of the railway station with a supremely attractive girl in Russia of all places, you're living the dream Benjamin! ❤️❤️
Here in the U.K. you can see people who jump the ticket barriers at every station, I saw this happen last week , instead of a fine/arrest the ticket conductor said to the fare evader “Sir, that was very rude!” 😂
@jwahh and always remember a condom also do you know if a girl intentionally breaking a condom is illegal? I just thought about it and a girl could do that then boom you got child support and a kid you didn't want. I know not many would but i've never even considered it until now, and it has me concerned. Also by what i said i dont mean that ive been fucking girls left and right, cause im a virgin, im just actually concerned lmao
Another great video. I must say you are living life as it should. I wish I had the balls to take such adventures. Thank you for sharing. PS. I was surprised to see American Marines there. Very cool.👍🏼
@Victor Bastos If you follow "Stop Xam" channel you would probably have to alter your views a bit. On that channel there are lots and lots of stuck up, entitled, snobby bitches, that just like western girls, think that them being women, makes them entitled to special treatment and they dont have to follow any rules.
@@JP-re3bc It's the subscriber count. It's clear that she misses half the things that bald vlogs and just smiles and laughs at the wrong places. She likes the attention :)
At 1:09 Alina has you in the "Russian half-Nelson" arm lock. That's it buddy, she owns you. You're no longer your own man. Source: Married a soviet girl.
Lol you've got through my everyday route to the work! There's easier way to detour the pay-gates at Streshnevo station haha. Absolutely amazing experience! Once you spare money on ticket, next you attend the most expensive store in Moscow. Life of contrast =)
Security: "You must pay 236 Rubles" Bald: "For one Person???" Alina: "Why so expensive???" Security: "Because it includes a fine!" 236 Rubles = $3.80 LMFAOOOOOO
I used to want to learn how to speak Russian to read Tolstoy without translation. Now I want to learn it to become a Gopnik. Thank you, Mr. Bald. You are putting life into perspective.
Buy some roasted sunflower seeds to crunch (the best one would be from babushka) and a card deck of 36 cards. Beer and stuff are on the videos. Cheers!
00:21 i was right there back in 2017 right at this place of the airport this is crazy to see you standing there man Love your content Greetings from germany ❤️
Wow, what an intriguing conspiracy theory. Well he's British and fluently speaks Russian and is very good about knowing his sense of direction in a part of the world most of us don't know a lot about and actually kinda fear venturing off into. Is he just a great smart explorer or is he in a secret society? He's a clever man whatever he is. He's very successful at getting hot dates as well...
@@MT-eo6tq SS troops were directly a part of Nazi party so you could call them Nazi army but Wehrmacht wasn't a part of Nazi party at all, it was the official German army and the part of state which included every kind of soldiers-generals that some of them were even against Nazis including the best German generals such as Guderian or Rommel who faced many accusations from Nazi party and got dismissed and even executed like Rommel in 1944...
Химкинские Ежи. It is not exactly true that germans were stopped there. Actually, only a couple of german recon solders managed to get to the town, now known as Khimki. Also there are rumors that german motorcyclists managed to get to the bridge over Moskva canal. They just looked around and went back. What is more, some tanks were waiting for a command 3 km north from the monument. They never attacked I am local btw
Every time i see this young woman in one of Bald's videos, i think to myself that this is the most beautiful woman i've ever seen. Are all slavic women like that or...............
@@JWB86 tbf he's not the one commenting on RU-vid about fucking his girl in the arse like a 13 year old who talks about it all the time because he's never had any before...
I have worked with many Belarussian women, but Alina is by far the most polite, intelligent, free-spirited and pleasing on the eye if I put it that way. Shes a keeper.
I'm not sure which I was most pleasantly surprised by the most - That cheeky chair by the platform to aid folk sneaking out of the station without a ticket, the fancy supermarket, or the Marines in Red Square.
Really cool that you saw Marines there. Those are the Marines working at the Embassy in Moscow and they were taking their detachment photo in front of the cathedral. Only happens once in a blue moon because we are aren't allowed to wear our uniforms in public without special approval.
That is "Yeliseevsky" supermarket originally opened 1990. Sadly this historic supermarket was closed because of financial inefficiency when COVID started. But I'm sure it will open its doors back someday, cause it is kinda legendary. Obviously, other supermarkets in Moscow are not like this.
Wow! What a beautiful gorgeous supermarket, it would be a pleasure doing grocery shopping there in the lap of luxury, ~ I just can't get over it, simply amazing 6:58 Comparing with Canada here it's like shopping in a freakin' warehouse ..
