In Iran we have this problem of office bureaucracy, and if you need like a building permit or business permit having contractions could really help you out in IRAN, and Someone who doesn't know that the reason USCIS is limited in the amount of green cards that they can give by Congress, could this USCIS is just really bureaucratic, but it's not.
Ok, I retired as a DHS Federal Police, I was FEMA. ICE {Immigration Custom Enforcement} are Officers who doesn't work directedly to anyone, no friends, no lawyers, etcetera; everyone and anyone, must go through the Immigration processing and forms, no even lawyers have direct access to Immigration Officers, Lawyers has contact only to Immigration Judges if the case goes to trial, ALL, and EVERYONE advertising, or pretending to be able to help with Immigration Residence or VISA, are scammers. Also, to those who are fluent in English, do NOT need a lawyer, all they do, meaning the lawyers, is the same thing anyone could do, which is filling up the forms. The only time a person needs an immigration lawyer, if is that person broke any immigration laws.
I wish I had met you before. I paid 27 thousand dollars to a law firm and my file has still not been approved for 3 years. They don't even know who signed the documents. Due to a small mistake made by the lawyer, my file was rejected and 2 years of my life were wasted. Currently I-485 is closed so I could lose my status and they are still charging me money and saying I have to file EB1 to maintain my status.
