I don't understand this story split. People say you need to go to fight Galerius at Cornia's capital across the two bridges leading there, but that's straight up ludicrous in my eyes because you'd have to solely rely on a sellsword mercs to get through any of those battles. It's possible but I don't think that's the way to get the ending the easiest way. You can go north of Oevuerville Harbor, the place you disembark from after Palevia Island and head straight to the ruins where Auch is and keep going around northern Cornia. But and this is a big but... You can only do this after Josef says along the lines of, "Hey, we're about to approach Ecruit City. Is there anything else you need to prepare?" You need to take the option that let's you turn back and waste time on missions that would free Cornia but not get you closer to Scarlett like the aforementioned missions in the northern area. Simply put you probably get a set number of battles in Cornia you can do before Scarlett becomes completely evil. If you do more than required she's turned and I guess you get a bad ending for her and the rest of the game?
To add I did not realize this existed until a few days ago, but I feel terribly missing out on this. I'm going to have to do a second playthrough on the apparent Zeinoiran death mode just to register an extra cutscene and a different form of her high priestess self.
This is not really about rescuing Scarlett or not but going too early will just show your defeat. The world map is sort of open in my opinion but not in term to the main story progression.
@@faizedfoxgaming7426 It does have some choices but then I feel the world map is very similar to Tactic Ogre. But even Tactic Ogre is a linear storyline. Well I feel maybe it could some effect if you spare and recruit someone, you will miss someone else and stuff but it is still a good game.
So we have different eding. I sent Gammel to jail, considering what he did during cut scene. Maybe Executing Mordon will also have impact on ending. He is a lord and a town girl begged for his life.
I don't think executing anyone impacts the endings. There is another girl who can make bridges besides Mordon. Actually there is one execution at the very end that does impact the ending.
Can i ask you a question? Is it still possible to resque Scarlett after she getting brainwashed? I already 15 hours in this game and i don't want to get back to early game just for this scene(plus it's hurts seeing Scarlett become evil in my playtrough)
This leads to the bad ending pretty much SPOILER WARNING ... ... .... ... . . . . . . Ive beaten the boss before going into the elf lands and in spite of saving scarlet this scene played exactly the same way but scarlet wasnt there. Also in the bad ending valmore wins
