Their friendship is everything to me!! Two people who seem on the surface to be so different and come from completely different backgrounds but really have SO MUCH in common with each other. The fact that the popular guy and the weird girl BOTH feel so out of place and like they're not who they're supposed to be and connect over that feeling of having messed up somehow, of being wrong, is so precious. Even the little details of taking so long to learn how to walk or walking backwards - always feeling off or out of step with everyone else. I LOVE THEM!!
