The real meat of the problem: A monogamous relationship is required for financial security unless you are extremely independently wealthy. The way a monogamous relationship grants that security is by significantly curtailing each party's freedoms. Most of life's pain comes from being unwilling to accept the most fundamental law of the universe: EVERYTHING comes at a price (requires a sacrifice). Rage, deny, obfuscate... but it won't change that reality. People like that are trying to get the security while being unwilling to pay the price. That will always blow up in the faces of everyone involved

This applies more to women. Women naturally don't want to be a hoe and rather stick to one partner. This is something that naturally benefits her position and tries tries to take the moral high ground. Men want more women. Women would rather be with one man. That is nature.
