This lady is not some wallflower who is normally shy to speak her mind in front of a camera. Her not just coming out and defending herself personally /publicly ……..speaks INSANE VOLUMES about what she’s gotten herself into.
Is she actually working for the city of Oakland while in hiding. People need time cards to prove we are getting what we pay for. Maybe a class action lawsuit is in order to test the system.
She knows why it was raided - why do you think she wasn't there when the FBI came pounding on her door @ 6 or 7 in the morning?! I guarantee she's fled the jurisdiction & she is in way too deep.......
Thao is not a leader. The people of Oakland who supported her, voted for her, while mistaken for having done that, deserve more from her. She is insulting them. They also deserve better and need to expedite her recall and investigate her actions in office.
My guess is the majority of her voters, coalitions and special interest groups got something in return from her. Just like Newsom. You can't tell me they did not know what was going on.
lol who ever designed the Texas highway infrastructure should come do a redesign in California and include more lanes , feeder lanes, cameras , and do away with those dangerous 2 lane highways like vasco rd etc .

She just needs to resign and save the trouble of a recall. By virtue of the fact she’s not showing up now is the same as her tenure as “Mayor” where she also didn’t show up to support the citizens of Oakland.
On one hand her lawyers are telling her to zip it, but on the other hand her position as an elected official demands she give some sort of explanation. Either way she doesn't come out of this clean.
I don't live in Oakland, and I know little about Mayor Thao. However, in the court-of-public-opinion, it's likely too late for her to win this "case." That raid happened early on Thursday morning. Now ... on Sunday ... there was a vague comment that she would make a public statement "sometime, this week."
I live in Oakland. She shouldn't be hiding out, but she won't be explaining anything. We will just have to wait to see what comes from the investigation.
Mayor is in a leadership role. Come out and explain the raid. Why did they come to your house? Guilty or not I don’t know. But I know you are not a leader. You are not suitable to run Oakland. Go find something else to do , not a leadership role
