it is tho, the story of spiderman is a life story havent you read the comics, if your a kid and u get bitten by a super powered spider odds are your elderly aunt and uncle aren't billionaires or wizards, theyre just people, so when you feel like its time to step out into the world and make your mark on it youd do it by helping who you can, youd be tired of robbery so youd swing in and give the lady her purse back, your still poor so you'd get a freelance gig at a paper for a boss that sees what you just did and calls YOU the robber lifes unfair like that, theres the big dogs who fly above the city like iron man but i doubt hes heard of you, youve heard of shield but you think thats just a myth like the illuminatti, even if they were real its not like your seeing any of their help with the fires, the train derailments, the store robberies, the gun running, the good people around you who are being hurt everyday for no good reason, like your uncle, thats what SPIDER-MAN is about hes a microcosm of every raw deal the world can throw at you and how you can tank that shit as long as you have the unrelenting will to fight for the betterment of those around you. not about multiverses or spin off characters not about teamup movies or merchandise, not about fun video games or lucrative movies, people have completely lost sight of what Stan and Steve conceived in their first 2 decades of spidey he just grew up in the way we would not in the way a universe needed him to, he went to highschool, went to college, lost friends and loved ones, found love again, got married, thats what spiderman is it sounds boring on paper but its everything to the audience who is living those experiences right now, i doubt anyone out there has a billionaire surrogate father or have had their friends minds erased, the mcu COULD have made a true to character spidey but it chose not to and now the whole idea of the guy is muddled because multiverses are the new hollywood fad. @@SirFunky
