Don't Make Me Defend Mark Driscoll OR John Lindell 

I absolutely would’ve been disappointed in Mark Driscoll if he would not have called this out for the wickedness it was

Mark should not have apologized. He did the right thing.

mark knows these men the lindell sons.......he shared a private conversation. mark is saying you need to individuate from his father because he is Enmeshed. John Lindell is the one exposing mark and being divisive. I trust that mark knows the situation well enough to encourage the son to individuate from his father in stead of being enmeshed. that is something that only someone who is up close and concerned would tell someone. the fact that the son showed the emails to his father and then the father shared the emails is what is devisive and shaming exposing mark.

This middle guy cares so much about how christian look

First time hearing this youtube channel. The middle guy cussed before ANYONE calling what mark did a b move. The dude is totally emotional and doesnt care what mark did but only how, like a woman. I wonder how his relationship is with his dad.

Their intent was to allow men to think the spirit of the Jezebel was acceptable in church or anywhere near Christian men. Lindell shouldn't be allowed to preach another word. Just another terrible case of people following a pastor instead of the word of God.

“One could make an argument it’s a bitch move by mark” couldn’t that same “one” make an argument that Paul made a “bitch” move by calling out Peter in Galatians? If a brother sins against you in private, handle it in private. But if a brother sins openly in front of an audience, you’re obligated to call it out in front of that same audience. If you thought the performance was wrong or sinful in someway, he did nothing wrong. If you believe shirtless, sword swallowing pole climbers are appropriate in a church setting, then mark did do something wrong. But don’t tell me that after that public display mark should have handled it privately

I feel like John did the same thing to Mark, John didn't go to Mark before calling him out in front of the Church. He didn't need to start yelling stuff out and then kicking him off stage live. Talk to him after, then bring it up to the Church. Good convo though guys! Love this platform!

What’s up with the foul language?

The guy talking over the top of everyone motivates me to dislike this video and never subscribe. I don’t think Mark Driscoll is the best discerner of church decisions. Not that pole dancing is a good feature of a church event. But Driscoll is more interested in promoting his book than having a mature conversation with other Christians.

how can you not support Mark for doing the right thing...

“Make Christians look bad”, “his church” “his ego” blah blah it’s short sited. If John would have came out with a joke like “excuse me I’m just getting around the big elephant in the room” and said something like: the point of this conference is to equip men, strengthen men *whatever* if I have caused anyone here to stumble pleas forgive me, we talked about it, prayed etc and I didn’t see anything wrong with it, at the end of the day this church and event belongs to God, I am just a facilitator, and if I have had a lapse in judgement, we’ll talk about it later, as for now I don’t want this moment to take away from the blessing God has for you here, so once again please forgive me, if I caused anyone to stumble, sowed decisiveness or caused confusion. Anything like that would have been fine and this whole thing could have been gotten ahold of and mitigated.

Driscoll, Lindell, and this whole fiasco represents what's wrong with modern evangelical Christianity. This event made us all interested in church drama and a couple of mega church pastors who are lining their pockets with this newfound attention. Instead of the event, you know, bringing us together in our knowledge and faith in Christ. I have a feeling that Paul would be busy sending epistles to all the American mega churches.

1. What did Jesus do when he saw merchants buying/selling in His Father's house? He was ANGRY. WHY? Because of the DISRESPECT towards God. 2. Mark Driscoll's reaction was CORRECT. He was correcting the disrespect being presented towards God within, what was supposed to be, a men's "CHRISTIAN" conference. 3. Our priority as Christians is God, bringing people to Christ, NOT PROTECTING ONE'S EGO; As Christians, we are called to call OUT evil and keep one another spiritually accountable when we stray from Christ. This disrespectful stage presentation was done publically, therefore it makes sense to call it OUT publically. So the "discord" was absolutely necessary. So if some "feel" that Driscoll's response wasn't the "best approach" because it was "divisive," you have some serious re-evaluating to do. 4. Christianity is not about appearance. We are not supposed to APPEAL to the world but the exact opposite: •Romans 12:2• NKJV And do not be CONFORMED to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Christians has always and must always create discord amongst this wicked world; that's how you know you're probably on the right track. Period.

There is only one Father. Lindell appears to have elevated himself to a higher position than he should. The sin was public and should have been handled publicly. They both are fence riders who will wind up wrecking themselves if they are more concerned about the appearance of their ministry than the truth of the gospel. Irony of ironies, at the “Stronger Mens Conference” we have two christians “leaders” showing the weakest examples of taking a stand.

FINALLY! FULL PERSPECTIVE OF CHRISTIAN MEN. No one is right. It's different perspectives of wrong. Dave has been hurt, suffered a hurt. Seems obvious, buts that's ok.

This guy on the right side of the screen is very much blind and super biased. His spirit is very full of judgment of one guy and overly defensive for Driscoll. That is very sad. You can see him being very subjective and awkward. It’s clearly wrong how biased he is. Theres so much blind judgement for the church in question and very blind acceptance for Driscoll. Jesus please heal our hearts and gives us wisdom!
