literally was watching an episode with my fam, Phil was trying to solve some sort of mystery, it lead to a driving scene where he was staring like he was on a mission (he technically was), and even my mom found him scary.
@@corncobbob2326 Sorry, but Phil cannot be anyone else but Agent Phil Coulson of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division (SHIELD).
Bro this is me, I respect the hell out of my parents, if my mom gets mad I am scared but I know how to navigate that, but my dad, if he gets mad I am terrified just because he is always composed all of the time
I was raised by my grandparents and every single day, my grandma yells and gets angry. My grandpa was always calm and composed which is why I always turn to him whenever I get scolded. He'll even defend me lol. As time went on, I could manage my grandma getting angry but when my grandpa gets angry, I get shooked. Not even my grandma getting angry could contain him lol.
Phil? 🤨 Uh, His first name is Agent. -Tony Stark Sorry, but Phil cannot be anyone else but Agent Phil Coulson of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division (SHIELD).
I would say she is what keeps Phil from crossing the line. She knows when he has to step in that she just follows while minimizing the losses of whoever brought out his wrath.

The funniest thing in this video is that given the stories that Gloria has told about herself and the men that she's known in her life, it really says something that when Phil is going off the rails she panics and screams out for Claire out of fear.
@@anolddevil7013 true. Gloria never really saw that side of Phil so she couldn't process what was happening. she probably thought Claire would have had an idea.
She knows a dangerous man snapping when she sees it. Her sister? She’s always the same level of dangerous. It’s expected at that point. But a quiet man like Phil? Nah that’s a tsunami of a man.
Phil: Even though I'm a better griller than you! Gloria: *gasp Jay: You must think you're pretty tough? *Phil pulls out the extra smoke: "Not as tough as your meat!" Gloria: "CLAIRE!!!"
I remember my mum was a Clair. I was scared of her. But if Phil, my dad, got mad. I’d cry for days. He would barely react. But knowing I’d upset him broke my heart
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 at the time no I didn’t. But I’m a Clare now I’m an adult so totally understand why she was like that. My dad was my hero as a kid but my mum is my hero as an adult 🥰

"Do you renounce Satan?" *close up on Phil's serial killer face Luke rolls out of bed and grabs a bat, knocks out the block of wood and lets the car roll into a tree "I do renounce him" Do you?!? The balloons covering Phil's ad are shot down. Luke releases rats at a girl's party. "I do renounce him." DO YOU?!?!?!
The way he used alex as an example to haley and vice versa as a possible future for them to change their attitude was just brilliant. The whole show was just brilliant, this and 30 rock and classic simpsons are the best written and funniest tv shows ever.

My old man is like the complete opposite of Phil He’s quiet, doesn’t emote alot, and doesn’t really laugh out loud much if at all So one time, we were heading to work (worked with him for 3 years in construction) I was super tired and was doing the talking for the both of us Idk even about what But I said something, then paused, felt a slight breeze, and looked down to see my fly was down, so, because I was already rambling and sleep deprived I said “oh, that’s why it was so cold” And I zipped up my pants And continued with what I was talking about My dad looked over, looked down, looked at my face, and started to laugh harder then I’ve ever seen someone laugh He had to pull over he was laughing so hard The whole day I’d hear him giggle to himself Honestly, I could been hit by a train, and lost 100000$ And it wouldn’t have mattered I’d made my dad laugh, and so hard he had to pull over so he didn’t cause a wreck I won at life, I could make my momma laugh easily, I just talk to her on the phone and she laughs, but my dad? Sheesh That was a great day
Phil was a really nice guy, devoted husband and father but underneath all that lurks a dangerous sociopath. I think meeting Claire really helped balance Phil out. But let's face it the man is one bad day away from becoming The Joker.😂
Bro , in episode " when we almost die " when phil confront thorpe , i felt goosebump , never felt such an aura from funny and goofy phil , but i always think phil like to keep it chill cause he know he can be a monster
When you think you can get away with anything, because your dad never gets upset anyhow but then you finally take it too far and you find out what it's like when you do cross that line. I can guarantee you, you'll never ever cross it again. That's a onetime trip that will scare you so shitless, you'll spend the rest of your life watching for signs to prevent it ever happening again. The episode where Phil finally snaps and puts the girls to work while watching them like a hawk is one of his best. He's the nicest dad ever, but like every other person, he has limits. You can stretch those limits further than most, but if you stretch them too far and they finally do break, you'll never see him the same way again. That was the day they learned that their mother was really the good cop in the relationship all this time.
Meh. It's ok, I don't know if it's worth your full attention. Maybe have it on while you are doing stuff around the house, sorting clothes to donate, getting the recyclables to the curb, doing mending or sewing....
Missed that moment when his realtor rival said something about Claire and Phil goes "Don't talk about my wife again or I'll kill you...wait, that sounded like I was joking and I'm serious. I'll kill you."
Those moments with his daughters is just so sweet “is that who you really want to be” he really knew how to play to their strengths to keep them not only happy but on the right track as well such a nice moment.
@@xobear91I watched that episode of Modern Family way before I seen the Godfather and when I seen the scene at the end that they were parodying it made it so much funnier
Phil is a great example of Kindness/Positivity ≠ Stupidity/Naivety. He’s often looked down upon for his attitude and nature but he’s clearly a smart and successful businessman and when he needs to be he can be absolutely ruthless
Phil's kiss of death to Claire should have been in this reel. Phil: *chuu* I know it was you Claire, you stole my index cards. Claire: 😳... I'm sorry. I'm. So. Sorry.
