Vermilion Pastoral is the best weapon in the game. It's a polearm that does fatuo damage, which heals you when you hit an enemy. It's early game as well. Polearms are busted in this game. Just chain heavy, lite, heavy, lite, and you can stun lock most enemies. I beat Arlecchino with it, first attempt.
So far i think its a lot of fun 😊 i was able to get it on steam on the 16, regular version. This is actually my first game on my gaming laptop and its running very smooth with ultra settings on. So far boss move sets are pretty easy to remember but mess up and it can easily be a one hit. Weapons are fun and masks as well, still figuring out different combos and that is fun. Im happy to see smaller teams making bigger games. I think some or a lot wont like this game because we've been spoiled with elden ring and having lies of p be one of the best soulslike games but i hope people can appreciate the devs
Over 100 weapons, 15+ masks, 50+ perks to mix n match, aspects, mask skills, and magic abilities. I barely beat my first run and hunted all my mask shards looking forward to getting the Platinum and finding some crazy builds. 🔥
I was trying to use the perk "perfect amber" and "path of trickery", but it never recharged a single flask after a finnisher, any idea what m doing wrong with my build?
Im new to soulslikes and im having fun playing Enotria, but progress is very slow and im struggling to beat enemies in under 50 attempts 😂 i need all the tips i can get 😅
It just takes a lot of practice to be honest. It is its own type of game and doesn’t really translate from other genres. Just keep in there, ALWAYS read the tutorials (especially in this game as the damage types are very important) and work on learning to kite enemies and when to engage or avoid mobs. IMO souls likes translate your skill very well one game to another so once you feel comfortable you should hit the ground running in Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Lords of the Fallen or whatever else you are playing. It’s worth putting in the time tho and you will feel more rewarded for your progress than with most game genres.
Some of the mobs are really annoying you don't have to fight everything. In games like this your parry "L1" is more important than attacking. Play defensively and watch the enemy movements.
Try using polearms. Chain heavy, lite, heavy, lite attacks to stun lock enemies. Most of the main bosses give you a legendary polearm that does one type of elemental damage. They are all great, but I use Vermilion Pastoral most as it deals Fatuo damage which heals you when you attack an enemy inflicted with the status.
If you aren’t using a super fast weapon(or even if you are tbh) you will die so much less if you always block first then counterattack when they are visibly done with their sequence. It’s really hard to stagger most enemies enough to interrupt them before their attack goes of and you can’t afford to take hits from every random dude
What is that scimitar you're using?? I didn't know there were elemental heavies! I was wondering why the game didn't have any weapon skills... subscribed! I'm at the second part of the game, and went for elemental damage with the lumberjack mask and that consumable that gets you dizzy. Because of that boost, I went for the left skilltree, which is also very good! Specially with a "poison" weapon, since bosses are kind of resistant to status effects, and poisoning them eats a LOT of health, seems to be % based.
@@SuperIron91 yeah! Thanks! Unfortunately, I’ll refund the game. The roadmap they provided seems to deliver the full game on march, by then I’ll think about rebuying it.
Can someone please explain leveling up and what stats I need to level as I progress? I have never been good at building a good character in souls like games. Explain it to me like I'm stupid.
Hey mate, just focus on grtting your health bar bigger. If you find a weapon you like, check it's requirements and put points in what you need for it, then continue with health. Put some points in endurance as well so you can swing that weapon a few times and dodge as well. Once you feel like you have enough hp, focus on whatever you want for damage. The idea is that with big hp bar, you can make mistakes and not just straight up die and you practice as well against the boss or whatever.
@@waleedharthy287 I'm loving it. But it seems to be short. There is a good depth of builds to try, weapons galore, fun lore, deflect focused with a generous window that is closer to Sekiro than Lies of P but, to counter that, pressing the deflect button costs you a bit of stamina, so you cant just spam it.
THE GAMES RATING BASED ON THE GENERE ITS IN: 4/10 gameplay, 6/10 graphics, 4/10 enemy variety, 4/10 fun, 0/10 broken ladder bug, 2/10 music variety, 3/10 boss move sets, 2/10 game polish, 3/10 combat - COMBAT IS INCREDIBLY BORING AND BROKEN FOR A SOULS LIKE, ENEMIES ARE MORE LIKELY TO BREAK AND STAND STILL TILL THEY DIE THAN USE THEIR BORING SAME MOVE SETS THAT EVERY OTHER ENEMY IN THE GAME HAS. side note --> (dont use 2 handed weapons or you'll realize just how retarded you were by using them) 1 handed beats 2 handed in damage output, DPS, and ability to quickly apply status effects, 2 handed is extremely slow and does negligible damage which makes it fucking useless compared to any other weapon in the game. OVERALL - 5/10 game with a 4/10 experience playing the game. Also you might not even be allowed to beat the game because of a ladder bug at the end of the game, and the only fix is to start all over back to level 1 and do it ALLLL over again just to see if it fixed it which you could very well get fucked but that bug a second time and there is no way of knowing till you get there. This game needed 3 more years in the oven before release
Lol damn u must be one of those that consider dark souls 1 the standard for souls likes..and I have been using one of the strongest weapons which is a poison 2 handed on bosses mainly and it's all about timing...2nd all the music is mainly boss fights and are actually really unique sounding compared to some generic gothic choir tracks in most souls games. Level design is pretty damn good. Graphics are decent enough for the engine given the lower budget...price should definitely be like 30 not 50$. I think the problem is you are rating the demo or you only played the first hour of the actual release.
Why set standards that even the games that I view as the standard can't even hold up to 😂 I adore Fromsoft, but there are so many amazing souls likes out there to experience as well, that aren't perfect either.
