Damn bro, That's the alcohol. At least with me it was rough on my body. From what I remember. I quit that like 10 years ago. Best thing I ever did. I my opinion it's so much worst then weed & rough on the body. I just took a break from weed. And it's been 2 weeks & I can already feel a huge difference. As far as my thoughts & moods. But that's crazy after 90 days you should feel amazing. Trust me if you give up the alcohol you will feel a hell of a lot better. Anyways 51 days weed free is awesome. I know it's not easy. The 1st week I had cold sweats & the shits it was horrible. I never thought in a million years weed/Shatter would do that to you.

It’s mixed for me bro. I’ve been alcohol free for almost a year now after almost three years of horrible horrible abuse. But as of the last 5 years I’ve smoked as well, and the last year spefically I’ve gotten into bad habits of dabbing like every 45 minutes to an hour every single day thankfully I don’t smoke tho I have devices that let me low temp the rosin and I have asthma and breathing problems never occur, but I’m in a psychological addiction right now and I can’t find the urge to want to live a good life and work like I used to. Friday at noon I check in to a 30 day treatment program and I’ll be coming back completely sober, debating on microdosing shrooms in the future through because I really like my shrooms… best of luck to you though bro. Just keep pushing for the good fight, and please put down the alcohol I promise that will be the best decision you’ve made even better than quitting weed probably, but both can be detrimental in their own ways so can’t say which is worse for someone.
@idlyblare

Yeah, for me I feel like drinking has always led me to continue weed & other bad habits, because drinking makes us not give a f. Especially feeling bad the next day after a night of drinking, it leads me to try and sooth the hangover with weed and bad food typically. Too many times that I’m embarrassed about it. It feels really good to make the decision to drop alcohol for a while and see how this helps me with weed/other bad habits. Best of luck to y’all🖤

I made the decision to go stay at my aunties this weekend to quit both weed and smoking, I won’t lie I’m scared to death, I’ve been addicted for over 20 years and tried to quit so many times, the longest I lasted was 9 months, but I’m at that almost hit rock bottom stage and I’m ready, I won’t lie I’m petrified. But it’s time, all I’ve ever done is what you said, make excuses, saying I’ll quit after this and this. I’ll be somewhere where there’s no shops, no one who smokes either and no access to get up and leave and get some. Thanks to my addictions four of my children and now addicts and I am hoping quitting and seeing what it’s done to me might help them decide quit, I have a young child and I look at him everyday and tell myself I’m not letting history repeat itself. I’ve been in such a dark place my whole life due to much trauma. But after months of self healing I’m ready, I’ve realized it’s never going to get easier then this. This is unfortunate yet fortunate because the weed has now shown you that - I’m sorry to say it - you live a rather boring lifestyle. This may be a hard pill to swallow but see it as an opportunity that allows you to do lots of new/different things in order to make your life more enjoyable :)
@deceptOG
@deceptOG Год назад
@casscornelius7233 yeah unfortunately I live a boring life too. Anyway, though, anytime I try to do anything, the financial stress makes it hard, and even then, I don't have the ability to have fun. Especially when my body is constantly tired and in pain, and my head hurts and my thoughts are so clouded and foggy, it's hard to focus on anything. Yeah, it'd be nice if stress didn't exist, like it apparently doesn't for you. But it does for me. Even then, nothing feels like an accomplishment, I'm trying to "do what's right" on constant willpower all the time. Even knowing I have to brush my teeth when I wake up makes me sleep another 9-12 hours. Needless to say, since I've stopped smoking every day, a piece of myself and my life gets chipped away. It's all crumbling. The stress of being sober and bored makes me wish for death. And you can say things are just like that because I live a boring life, but most of the things I try to do are things I enjoyed before I ever even touched a substance. There's this bland and pointless filter over life. Without a sense of accomplishment, without the will to even desire something enough to get up in the morning, and least of all without the sense to enjoy others company or any other aspect of life. How does one go on? How do I convince myself to let me live years like this, As I fall behind and my life degenerates, my youth escapes me, etc all for some ideal that feels less and less true as the days become harder to endure? The ideal that "weed made my life worse" feels more like a lie as the minutes go by. Weed never took my ambition, in fact, it's what gave it to me. It gave me the ability to transform negative thoughts into positive ones, it gave me the hope that my dreams are possible. It gave me everything "normal" people seem to already have. What is the point in doing this? But then again rn I can't find a point to take another breath, my body just won't let me suffocate and die in peace. I couldn't even start to smoke again if I wanted to, because I'd feel like a failure, even more than I already do. I don't even crave it. I just want to feel normal. I want to feel alive.

You need to find other ways to boost your dopamine levels like physical exercise and healthy nutrition...Your brain needs tasks regularly in order to be stimulated and not feel bored. Try reading or finding other hobbies. Dr. Frank, I'm currently on day 10 today as of today 08/14/2023 of zero marijuana zero cigarettes and zero alcohol. I've been a heavy pot and cigarette smoker for about 12 years. I had recently started alcohol binge drinking about 4 years ago. I have tried quitting multiple times in the past with 30 days being the most I have gone. And every time I would go a day without any substance I would immediately feel sick, stressed, nausea, headaches, mood swings etc. which would lead me back to smoking and drinking again. I felt trapped in that cycle. I had the strong urge to cease all use. But on 08/05/2023 after a night of heavy drinking and smoking the night before, that Saturday morning something totally different happened to me. As I was waking up with the hangover I remember laying in bed and being extremely angry with myself for repeating the same ole bs all over again. Then all of the sudden I physically felt something in my chest like a positive electrifying feeling is what I could describe to the best of my knowledge, accompanied by an overall sense of will power. My thoughts completely went from negative to positive as if I knew this was the end of the road and there was nowhere else to go but up. Suddenly I didn't feel the hangover anymore and I had zero urge to smoke or drink. With this positive mind set I got out of bed and waited for the withdrawal symptoms to return as I felt I was prepared to go through it one more time before I attempted to quit again. But I felt zero symptoms. None whatsoever. Just pure bliss and an overwhelming feeling that I was healed. I've always been a very active/fit individual practicing meditation as well. I felt as if my body knew this was the last time and it was sparing me the hurt and withdrawals that came with quitting. I immediately cut out all negative influences from my life and focused on my well being. My life has changed so much these past 10 days and I'm very happy and proud of myself. My thoughts are all pure and positive and I refuse to allow negativity into my life now. I lost all my old so-called friends as well which I saw as a good thing. Now whenever I smell marijuana smoke or cigarette smoke or even alcohol I get very disgusted and my will power kicks into overdrive reminding me of all the reasons why I quit those substances. So my question to you is Dr. Frank, How is this possible? How is it possible after all this time of smoking and drinking and experiencing harsh withdrawal symptoms everytime I tried quitting, How is it that now I can go completely cold turkey with zero withdrawal symptoms ? Is there a medical explanation or was this an act of God? I feel absolutely great. I'd love to get your take on this. and btw your videos were where I found comfort every time I was withdrawing in the past so thank you very much for that.

Even if i don’t resolve my IRL matters, at least i’m not digging a deeper hole because i’m not chasing things i cannot change. My story is a little bit different and that's what makes it harder to quit..Im now at day 3 quitting weed after many many unsuccessful attempts. Ive been a daily smoker for the past 10 years but pretty functional. I run a successful business, finances are great, i hit the gym 5-6 times per week, my diet is very healthy and strict BUT I feel like I would be even better, smarter and sharper without weed and that pisses me off. I need help I'm not sure if the depression of quitting weed worth the benefits Big respect from Greece Dr Frank!!

A few nights ago I felt like death and yet I still did it and felt just as bad after it wore off. I went from 20 cigs a day to 30 but yesterday I just smoked 3. It's 5AM and I have work in 2 hours. I don't have a painful headache but my head just doesn't feel right. I feel like there's constant nails running down the chalkboard of my consciousness. Not excruciating but almost rage-inducing.

Can you make a video about drinking alcohol while having chs? I feel like they go hand in hand as a chs haver. I started drinking a little bit after I got chs and stopped smoking. But sometimes I feel the same kind of symptoms with drinking. Do we just have to become 100% sober forever?

it never has to be that way i could recommend if you smoke weed try edibles instead if yohr a nic smoker try non tobacco vapes it still has nic just non tobacco and drinking is just bad for you im not much of a drinker so I can’t help or say anything more then try to stop drinking in general

This video could apply to any addiction not just weed. I've never even tried it and I'm not addicted to it. I think you would get more views if you changed the title from "DON'T Quit Smoking Weed Until THIS happens" to "DON'T quit addictions Until THIS happens." A lot of potential viewers with addictions that aren't to weed might not watch it because they might think it's advice that only applies to weed addictions. I watched it as I know this channel isn't just for weed addictions.

Same, my thought process was that I would be able to smoke on occasion, such as at family events or holidays. This led to me smoking everyday again, leaving me in the same place before I quit. This time when I quit I’m never gonna touch it again. It’s too easy to fall back into addiction

Mine was the 17th. Day 3 is a motherfckr 😣 I’ve done it before so I know the first 4 or 5 days are tough. My longest time off weed was 42 days since wen I started at age 24, and I relapsed over unexpected triggers. This time I intend it to be a permanent quit, I can’t stand the lack of motivation and other negative effects. I feel like I can’t concentrate or take on complex tasks I’ve been wanting to do.

So, ive been with my partner for a year. We are a few hours apart. So i dont get to see him a lot. He was a chronic dab smoker, smoked weed from the time he woke up until he fell asleep...i grew tired of him never being present with me and falling asleep after 10 minutes of me driving 3 hours to see him...he says he has stopped and ocassionally smokes but i feel as though hes not being 100 percent honest with me. How can you go from smoking that much and just suddenly say, oh, i can just ocassionally smoke...i feel like if hes gonna quit and tell me so, then he should follow through and not even ocassionally smoke until he gets his coping skills and mental hewltg under control. Is that even possible or is it an excuse so that he can still smoke? He has told me so many times that hes done and then an hour later, smokes...i love him but absolutely hate the way weed makes him. Its really sad and it is beginning to be a huge issue in our relationship because i get so angry hearing that hes done and then hours later that he smoked. He doesnt understood why i feel the way that i do and justifies smoking as having a cup of coffee.
