Everyone mad about him lying... meanwhile I'm just thinking that's a bad case. Spigen and Tech21. DBrands Grip and RhinoShield bumpers are pretty good as well. This case is thin and light, but if you drop your phone it will come off super easily. If I wanted something light and thin, I'd get a DBrand skin. What good is a case that doesn't protect your phone? Drop test a phone in this bad boy. Take it for a whirl man!! Lord knows you got enough phones there.
He summed up a lot of things like it should be really thin and light, etc But I didn't hear the part where he said that a phone case should protect your phone.
To be fair, it does. The idea I see lew providing here is that you are responsable enough to not let your phone fall ,it is something that is a rare occurance.
My only issue with the Latercase is that because of how thin it is, it offers next to no protection from any drops or accidental falls that may happen. This is in a way just a Dbrand skin but in the form of a case. It will only help with minor scratches and scuffs but that is all.
@@Honey-tb7is They look similar, but are not Exact copies of one another. Look, I don't have a dog in this hunt, but I can look at two items and tell if they are identical or what the differences are. There are a few differences in this comparison, mainly the fiber.

I wish Latercase had somewhere to leave feedback and reviews, the lack of it is clearly an intentional choice. I just took this case off my phone after about 6mo's. In short, it's nice but absolutely not worth the cost. My case had sharp edges on the gripping corners that I had to take sandpaper too. The camera bump hovers far above the actual phone and that cause a lot of dust and pocket lint to accumulate within. It broke in over time and loosened up to the point of it being loose. If it's ever on sale for 80% off I'd highly recommend it.
I bought a Latercase. The Latercase is just a 45 dollar piece of super thin molded plastic. That's it. The fitment is OK, but it doesn't scream quality. It looks like something you would find in a Chinese tech market for 50 cents.
My phone case may be bulky but without it the glass in my phone would probably be damaged so bad it would be sand again. Also the bulky case makes it feel heavier so that makes it feel durable
The only reason I put a case is so that I don’t want any cracks when I accidentally drop it. You gave a whole speech about how phone cases should be when the ultimate goal is for the case to be durable. Idk about your flimsy looking thin case. It ain’t serving the purpose

Please reconsider your standpoint sir you're saying it's just a case, but not in this case this is someone else's bread he's trying to steal.
@@Josh-oc7ib it would protect your phone from dents and scratches from falls that wouldnt necessarily break the screen but just put a scuff on your phone... I seem to get those alot more than broken screens...
Having a solid material isn't everything (but that case looks like it would shatter when it drops). You need at least something that will soften the blow, like a rubber or gel

Got my case in the mail today. Was really disappointed to find that the case is peeling and scuffed in certain spots right out of the box. Guess I’ll just stick with my old case.🤷♂️
I just got my later case for s10e. This is exactly what I wanted for a case. Thin.. really thin... But also has some grip to it, not the kind that makes it hard to put it in your pocket. I've always wanted a phone case that utilizes cutouts so you can feel the metal buttons on premium phones. Later case does that... As far as fall protection, if you're dropping your phone constantly this probably isn't the case for you. If you occasionally get caught dropping it from like the couch or something. Should be fine. Overall this case is exactly what I want in a case. It adds to the phone and doesn't take away from it
Not this case. This case is about carbon fiber and looking good (that is, if you like the carbon fiber look). Lew doesn't care about protecting his phone, he's got phones coming out of his ears.
Those cases work for anyone who has a job where they are inside and not near any kind of dust or dirt or weather I work outside so I need my lifeproof case It's the only case I use bc they were he should make this case and then another version that has significantly more protection and coverage

believe it or not the iPhone 13 pro max is so durable I’ve dropped it on concrete twice without a case and haven’t even got a scratch no damage at all.
I like phone cases. I’ve had one ever since 2005. As long as it’s not too bulky I’m good. I spend quite a bit on my phone these days and I want to make sure my investment is protected. My two year old phones look brand spanking new after being in a case. I regularly take my phone out and clean both phone and case. Like anything you own, you have to take care of it.
