Jakob Vantruett Sure. I don’t think AG1 would mix with these well (taste) but if you wanted to mix the rest, you could if you are looking for something between the two.
I am dying…lol…multiple organ failure. I have a bit of time left and want to give myself enough energy, not too many calories and a healthy choice…might as well enjoy time left. Your videos REALLY helped me out ! I have taken AG1 for a couple of months…like it…but you have convinced me to try K as well. My docs say nothing with a face or a mother…nothing out of a box or can or factory. My diet was organic RAW fruits, veg and water…period. This will at least allow some flavour and help on days I simply do not want to eat ! Thank you sooooo much ! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
So glad to hear the video helped out and gave you some new options. I personally like to add a little high quality olive oil, a small pinch of mineral salt, and ice. Blend it up and it is fantastic. The olive oil is extremely healthy and may be a great way for you to get healthy calories with the way your diet is. Obviously, ask your doctor but just a thought. So sorry to hear about your health condition. I am going through heart troubles right now and while it is no where close your situation, I have a small understanding of what that puts you through. I wish you the absolute best, hope your health turns, and am sending all the positive vibes your way that I can.
As a truck driver whose on the road for 5 days out of the 7, there aren't a lot of options that I have when it comes to food - and that's why I go with VitaHustle One. It's available in just about every Walmart throughout America, whereas the others are not. I believe I've seen Huel in some Walmarts but not all.
We do a lot of traveling with our RV in the summer and a get a small introduction to the difficulties of eating healthy on the road. I always have my Ka’Chava with me but same idea with VitaHustle and glad it is so available!
A few months ago I came to the realization that I was not getting enough micronutrients in my system. I lacked almost every important vitamin and mineral in my diet. I haven’t tried AG, however I have tried Huels super greens and it’s almost exactly the same but half the price. I tried kachava for a month, but the lack of flavors made me bored and the lack of carbs made me sick and I always felt like I couldn’t finish a workout because I didn’t have any carbs. Huel is the closest macro balance that I’m looking for versus the other products as well as a lot of micros. I work out twice a day and kachava did not give me the energy I needed to finish the day. I work in nursing and it seems like all the sick people in the ICU are on a keto diet 😂
That's interesting. I think for people like us who will an active enough job on our feet, healthy carbs are a fine part of our diet. As for the desk jobbers, maybe they can live on Mediterranean or salad heavy Paleo, but idk who needs to be on keto unless you are morbidly obese, prediabetic, or overweight and have a lot of carb allergies/gluten intolerance. Everyone has different dietary needs but I think where people fall short is trying to do a diet that's meant for a different lifestyle it health goals than their own and trying to force it to work for their goals that might be contradictory to their actual health needs.
The exact 2 I have used for years. I’m 72 and went plant based 3 years ago and Ka’chava is my absolute favorite and is satisfying my sweet tooth no matter the flavor. 👍🏼👍🏼
I've been using AG-1 for close to a year now. The biggest reason being is it's literally replaced several standalone supplements I was taking before but with even more stuff added. As expensive as it is it's still a great value to me. I use AG-1 differently than I see advertised. I personally add it to my chocolate protein shake with honey. So I'm getting a good balance there but the shake is obviously an additional expense. I have been curious to try Kachava though. Always looks like it tastes good.
Ka'Chava does taste really good! But I am fan of AG1 as well. Never thought it would mix with chocolate well so surprised to hear that. Agree that it is expensive but depends on how you look at it. So good for you and can replace many other supplements you could be spending money on.
Best comparison I have seen. I am loving Kachava for over a year now. Think I will try adding AG1 and switch back and forth. So appreciate this video. Thank you!
Huel black price is great. Is meal replacement and taste the best. . Banana and cinnamon roll are incredible. Keeps you full for hours unlike all the others. Huel had green drink better than ag1 as well. Price, nutrition, and taste. Huel rules.
To be honest, I don't have a lot of knowledge regarding their products as I have not done much testing with them. When it comes to shakes, I prefer other options. They have a lot of great ingredients but they also have questionable options included. When it is considered a health shake and certain question ingredients stand out, it turns me away from that option.
Just about to start getting huel again, I love the peanut butter one and the salted coffee flavor wise! There's new flavors from when I last bought it though. They also used to do seasonal flavors. Will you review the huel greens?
Well, I have a problem with Kachawa. After two months, I noticed red spots on my skin, first on my face and then all over my body. My next-door neighbor also has the same problem. It looks like Kachawa is not a very balanced meal replacement. I am wondering if anybody else has had the same experience with Kachawa. Now I will switch to Huel to see if my body likes it better.
Hey Learn With Travis what would be good for an athlete since I am currently doing sports(XC,BBall,T&F) and what would be good to drink since I am an athlete and currently in school
I would pick Ka’Chava. Mainly because of all the nutrition in it (good for sports, school, and overall health) but it also has macros (fat, protein, and a little carb) which is a good thing in your case. Some people are trying to limit calories but when you are active and young, that is likely not the case. Hope that helps!
They are pretty good but sometimes a bit hit or miss for me. The texture on some is great and others a little chunky\mushy which I don't love. My wife actually really enjoys them and she is usually pickier than I am. Flavor is actually pretty good for most of them. I particularly enjoyed mac n cheese and chili.
Awesome video 📹 can you safely take ag1 and huel hot and savory foods during the day without getting overdose in nutrients? I want to buy huel to try but I just bought ag1 and about to try it out. I don't know if taking ag1 and 1 huel meal a day is too much for the body.
Looking over the nutritional label of Huel, percentages all seem solid and do not appear like you would be overdoing anything. My gut says this can be done but talk to your doctor utritionist to make sure as I may be incorrect.
@LearnWithTravis Thanks 😊 I will probably give it a try as you get nutritients from regular foods daily anyway, also after using AG1. I saw a post on reddit from a guy doing it for 6 months without issue using huel and AG1. Thanks for your input :)
If it were me, I would take Ka’Chava and do healthy additions to increase calories mainly through fat and protein. Add olive oil to the Ka’Chava. Eat hard boiled eggs with it. This will help you gain weight but in a very healthy way. Hope that helps!
According to their website they go through rigorous testing to make sure it is minimal... but I tend not to trust the company for that information and I don't have a way to test that myself. Wish it was easier to get third party testing for things like this.
Are there any other brands/competitors to these 4?....I used to take this greens superfood drink from vitamin shoppe(they offered a cheaper plain greens drink & a more expensivebut enhanced greens drink..i always got the more expensive 1 so thats what im comparing price wise at moment)...was I think approx $90 for abt 90 servings(something like that in regards to price & servings ct)....its didn't taste good at all...basically like dirt....was gonna get kachava but when I saw price/servings I thought I should wait or look & see what else is around....but really only see the ag1...(which seems distinctly different than what kachava is.... ag1 seems alot more like that greens drink I got from vitamin shoppe)
There are tons of options. You are right that Ka'Chava and AG1 are different. They are both based on providing your body loads of nutrition but Ka'Chava has macros where AG1 does not. I recently reviewed Huel Greens and have Organifi on the way. But there are so many others as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-91BDn8TOGJk.html
I agree, Huel needs to be in a different video with other meal replacement shakes, for me. A helpful video overall but not coherent comparison because they shouldn't really all be compared, as you say.
Riddle me this Have you ever tried or thought about mixing a scoop of kachava and huel together ? I'm considering this as I am typically a Huel guy. But mixing the 2 would seem to be a net positive. Best of both worlds kinda thing? So if you still have some, can you let me (us) know what it's like ?
