I HV charge any batteries that drop a cell, hang them up on a board, and break out the BB pew pew. Its the exciting way to make sure they are safe for the trash can.
I fix battery packs all the time from drills and drivers and such. A milwaukee or any of the like, at all amphrs , will jump a car off with a completely dead battery. A 9.0 will jump one off like 5 times, crazy how powerful even 18650s are
I do the same thing. lipo batterys are such a hassle.. anytime I set my rc stuff aside. for a while and come back i find some cells are dead. seems it's transfered to my lawn equipment. have 2 of them die lately. been able to swap some cells from other stuff and rebuild both packs. 2nd was just 2 bad, first was like 18 bad, most Rev charged. kinda weird.
Someone is gonna go around whacking LiPo packs with a sledge and catch himself on fire. Smh👍 When you shake hands with "Danger", say hello to "3-finger Joe" for me.
Lol. Watch some of my other videos - we do far more dangerous stuff than hitting a dead lipo cell with a hammer... how about stick welding with LTO cells: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TlerchtDjxA.htmlsi=6iUgQWXA4uRkX-XB Or blowing up and completely destroying with a plasma arc a $1,700 APD ESC: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_n6hDRsMZd8.htmlsi=EfKNe-PHHoMhe8Xy Of course, it's not all failures - here we made 800 hp at the dragstrip with an RC-motor powered supercharger: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RT0M88xHzNQ.htmlsi=PbN9eBrNGeU8fD3n
