Life is not short(unless something cuts it short). It is that people piss away the most valueble resource, time. I also thought life was short for many years, but then I realised that when the time comes, I want to look back on a life full of goals and achivements and not dreams and regrets. Now my life feels anything but short. I may die tomorrow or in 50 years. It doesnt matter, beacuse I know I make the most of my life as I (within reason) can. I do genuinly hope that more and more people started to view death not as something horrible, but as something motivating! Memento Mori every single day gentlemens
"The truth is: we died together once before. Arthur, me, Danny Whizz-Bang, Freddy Thorne, Jeremiah and John. We were cut off from the retreat, no bullets left, waiting for the Prussian cavalry to finish us off. And while we waited Jeremiah said we should sing "In The Bleak Midwinter". But we were spared, the enemy never came. And we all agreed that everything after that was extra. And when our time came we would all remember."
Fulfilment and satisfaction never comes from effortless and easy glory. We experience the meaning of life from achieving, it motivate us to live life worthy. We Experience pleasures by going through suffering. Hardwork for goal= Suffering Result= Pleasure If you want to experience pleasure you have to suffer. Life is all about purpose and goal, we get pleasure by pursuing something, that's the way our mind work, you have to focus on something Life is all about activities Inactivity is not life Stagnant is death
Reflection on "Don't Waste It...Don't Waste Your Life": In the fleeting dance of life, where each tick of the clock peels away the layers of our existence, this video resonates with a timeless echo from the past-Marcus Aurelius’s stoic reflection that “Death smiles at us all; all we can do is smile back.” This isn’t just a call to acknowledge our mortality but a rallying cry to engage with life passionately and purposefully. To smile back at death is not to mock the inevitable but to embrace the beauty of the present, to find joy in the transient, and to leave indelible marks of our spirit in the sands of time. As Aurelius would have it, our lives are but a wisp of breath in the vastness of the universe. Yet, within this wisp lies the power to forge destinies, to touch lives, and to rise above the mundane. It’s a reminder that while we cannot control the length of our lives, we can certainly command its depth and breadth. Forged’s video implores us not to squander the currency of our existence on trivialities that dim the vibrant hues of our days. Instead, it encourages us to invest every minute in pursuits that kindle our passions, challenge our intellects, and nourish our souls. In a world teeming with distractions, this message is a beacon that guides us back to what truly matters-our capacity to love, to learn, to create, and to connect. It’s a testament to the human spirit’s resilience and its unyielding desire to seek meaning amidst chaos. So, let us take this message to heart. Let us not waste our lives in fear or inaction. Let’s craft our days with intention, savor the simple pleasures, and chase the dreams that set our hearts aflame. For in the end, it is not the years in our life that count, but the life in our years. And when death does come, with its enigmatic smile, may it find us mid-laugh, mid-dream, mid-dance-fully spent, utterly content, and brimming with the irreplaceable wealth of a life well-lived.
The reason to work and complete our duties for the goodness of it is why we should not waste our transient lives. This goodness is like the belief in God, such belief will encourage us to not waste our lives and perform our duties. Also, the fear of God will make us vigilant towards doing anything wrong in our lives like wasting time. Beief in God is an amazing thing. And even if you dont beleive in God and try to waste your life out of ingorance, you know you will blame this ignorance at the enf of the day.
I feel so lucky, born in a world that already has progressed a lot. It felt as if god gift this world for me. It's like I'm the main character... seriously why am I born in such a time of equilibrium, where I could learn so much, do so much and feel so much... isn't this just amazing... it's so weird... I've always been pessimistic, yet this is what I felt now. Maybe this feeling not gonna last long but I will treasure it forever.
Its throwing life away altogether without living it. Only death and avoiding life is missing the point its about living and then dying, first you have your life then death. You wont feel death it will just happen maybe you will feel dying but that's about it, but you will feel life all of it. Maybe a lot of the people who fear death fear in reality that they wont get to live not the death itself? This video tells.
As always great insights. I have never had a near life-death experience but this video has encouraged me to develop a higher sense of urgency cause life truly changes fast. I have a question, what does it mean to search for the perfect blossom? Many thanks for considering my request.
There are many interpretations, but mine simply means, striving for a better life is never a futile effort, even if you never reach the perfect & ideal life you're after before you die. Cherry blossom itself has a short life, after it blooms it will die in a matter of days. Which symbolizes how short & brief life is. Even if your life does not bloom perfectly, the bloom that you can manage to produce is already perfect in and of itself.
Just focus on what's in the present and improving your self. We all suffer, but everyone has to learn to deal with amount of crap that they have in life.
@@AutisticPlays I agree, except that I'm over 50 now so my confidence and motivation is almost completely gone at this point. It's hard to find the will to do anything these days.
