Dude- Rick Rude is most underrated wrestler in history in my opinion (also apparently a good dude)- but despite being a huge Rude and Frye fan I never made this connection- thank you,
Ramirez was hyped as having a 400-0 record and looked like a special needs dude. He was cannon fodder. Took one jab/hook and folded faster than if it was laundry day.
Don Frye is definitely a guy I would not want to make mad or cross 😂 I think the most scary thing about him is he looks like a average guy who is built well but in reality he is a machine and could hurt you internally easily! Guy was a monster 💀
Wait, so does he say warsh instead of wash? I lived in Gettysburg Penn and I know a good few of people that say "I warshed my truck yesterday." Or Gararge lmao. The add an r where it doesn't need to be lol. Anyway, they called it Pennsylvania Dutch.... I called it wrong.... lmao
The first guy dressed in all black that Frye fought in this clip - how did he make it into the ufc?! I remember they let some complete slobs in in the early days
I believe they needed a big dude for David vs. Goliath tournament and he had been pestering UFC ownership at the time (Clyde Gentry has a great book with all kinds of fun stories like that- I think someone named Trent Jenkins took the bus to one of the early UFCs- he did a podcast with Sherdog folks about 10 hears ago now- highly recommend either)
I whooped up on a couple dudes like tank , just big ol rough dudes , everyone thought I was going to get my ass kicked and all I kept thinking was is this dude ain't gonna out wrestle or out box me , and I'd win ALMOST EVERY TIME , COUPLE AH TIMES I GOT BEAT UP REALLY GOOD 😂
