Today is a day that changed life of a struggling Single Mother who was in the verge of losing everything. A women that just wanted to work with Dignity and not have to keep looking for support by asking. She wanted to become Self Sufficient and my wife Samia came up with the idea of seeing her past experience of working as a delivery person that why not give her a car she can use to work as Uber Driver and be able to use the car to get a job that might interest her and use it to take care of her children at the same time.
when we proposed the idea, she loved it however the next struggle came of how can we raise $20k which was an expected amount needed to accomplish this goal. Thanks to Br. Ya'sir he helped us reach 50% of the goal and we were able to accomplish the rest from Act of Goodwill donors.
Since the Single Mother was going to be driving this car, we let her pick the car she wanted. The price was somewhat higher than the amount we had originally raised and she really liked it and had requested us to talk to the owner. upon telling the owner why we were buying this car, he allowed us to have it for the donation money we had raised.
Samia saw that all funds were used and Insurance for TLC for the year was becoming a struggle for her Pay as all her credit line was used to max and couldn't take any more loan from family and friends because she owed them already. She decided to gift her the funds from herself and paid for 12 months of TLC Insurance to ensure she can work and earn without any issues.
This video was done way after her purchase because 3 individuals started spreading that we keep the donation funds and never bought the uber however we did within 30days of the campaign being finished but out of respect of her privacy we never did a video only published the check being given to her which we assumed was enough. She was not interested in doing a video but because of these false rumors which we informed her she agreed to do the video to showcase that a car was purchased and not only did we give her funds for the car but also placed in donation from us where she was able to pay off full year of insurance as well.
The sister has been making very good money, she has upgraded herself from a basement to a house for her children, working 7 days but in a way where she is able to spend time with her children and provide for them and live a life with dignity.
