It's called the TIM DILLON show dawg if u don't think he's funny then hop off 💀 with or without Ben it's his show you can't tell me u subscribed over a producer
@@gabagooltony_9562 Those who don't know about the sidekick, personal assistant who also helped Tim and call Ben his producer only are mentally special. Is my guess. I might be wrong.
This feels like Christmas at a newly divorced dad's house and he keeps saying "see I told you it would feel normal". At some point you just have to say " dad you fucked it up, you shouldn't have screwed your secretary Janet on mums birthday". But hey life in the big city am I right!.
Lol, I don't understand how Ben makes the show funny when Tim is the comedian. No one can make nuclear war any funnier than Tim did in this episode. "We wet our beaks, it's time to call it a night" that one chuckle I had was about as many chuckles as this insane concept can give me.
@@ctr289 I keep hoping someone will put me into a self-defense situation here in the USA, but hasn't happened yet. Just kidding, was involved in a murder at age 17. Knife, not guns though. My best friend only went away until he was 21, and now has a family and a career in nursing. It's a grand land I tell you.
Tim is responsible for the show's current state of horror. He's the one who gaslit the shit out of Ben over the twitter post. Lots of respect to Ben turning down big money, and following his sense of self-respect. If Ben had taken the money, the show would have been a disaster anyways, because I don't think Ben would have been able to wash the stink off that money. I didn't even know Ben had left the show (I assumed it was a vacay or a family emergency or something) until I realized how much less funny this episode felt and checked the comments. I don't think Tim needs Ben to be a success. But Tim needs to clear the air and earn back some good karma by publicly apologizing to Ben on the air for his bullshit. We all fuck up. But I think its pretty obvious he's just off his game with this shit looming over his shoulder.
@@JohnStockton7459 lol what a moron you are. Haha I know Tim keeps saying his fans were morons, but I always took it as a bit. But I guess some of you guys crept in. Go back to stephen Colbert you dolt
It wasn't Tim! It was probably Ben. *BEN AVERY!* Remember how cold and calculating he was? Trying to sabotage the show at every turn? This is the final part of it. 😞
friends that are around before success really cant be replaced. especially when money was not their motivation. i hope you keep the friendship, regardless if the new guy cant pull up pics on donbas.
Hehe. I noticed that too. New guy just as inept as everyone else in Tim's mind. Meanwhile, I've seen many other content creators who produce their own podcasts. These other creators bring up stuff from elsewhere without any hitches a tall. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
@@tarico4436 These other creators are not being forced to sniff fat lines off of TDs veiny pipe, just before they start…so they’re all hyped and erratic. That’s why Ben is in rehab at the mo. True story
Please, if Ben was broke right now he’d still be on the show. He made enough to not need to do the show anymore. I don’t buy the money not being his motivation story at all.
I like the new format. It’s more like a news channel, and the best part is that I didn’t laugh, not even once. I hate laughter, so this new format is bound to become my favourite serious podcast.
I love Tim but he’s being a FAT hypocrite right now. The irony in what he’s doing is palpable. I too have canceled my membership until he wakes up. Very sad
Hey guys. Seriously consider your patreon membership at this point. I love this guy's sense of humor, but he has sacked his best friend and is claiming copyright strikes on tiny youtube channels that shed light on what happened. All while acting like he hates censorship. Happy to pay for a ticket to see him live, but do not believe this man still deserves the patreon sponsorship that he enjoys.
The Best Part of the Whole Show was Trashing on Ben, a Live Act for all of US to play along with in the Live Chat and @ing @BenAvery who Laird himself knows I Hate!
My favorite episodes are the ones where Tim makes Ben crack up on a balcony somewhere at, like, 3a.m. I’m so sad that’s not going to happen anymore. I discovered his pod during COVID and I guess Biden is right: COVID is over.
Show is significantly worse without Ben but even with him the show was on cruise control for a while. Tim is rich and there isn't much of an incentive to perform or rant anymore. If he's not spending his money like an LA clipper he could disappear tomorrow and be set for life.
Listening to Tim go in on Ben on the Patreon episode really did kill this for me. I wish that wasn't the case, but sadly... all knife fights come to an end.
@@M2Sk8rX 2 parts. I linked them both. He went off on Ben for almost 20 minutes on a patreon episode, and came off like an insane narcissist. Ben told him to go fuck himself, and then Tim deleted the patreon episode. After hearing it in real time, listening to Tim talk just isn't the same anymore. 🤷♂️
Ben no longer being a part of the show is a sobering reminder that the world is constantly changing. This show got me through the pandemic and its sad to see it end like this but it's also been a sign for me to move on from the terrible habits I developed during the pandemic. Thanks Tim and Ben, life in the big city. 👍
This is exactly how I felt. I got so used to a new show coming out with them every week and didn't even think about how different it would be without them both. Makes me appreciate what I have
Same, shit brightened up my darkest days for 2 or 3 years. Tim was a modern day thought leader. A sobering voice of calm and comedy Ben was the Aristotle to his Socrates. He listened in person, in our stead. But Tim became a dickhead. Some of the best jokes became real now the RU-vid humanities are in disarray.
@@lucianaromulus1408 what I'm saying is everyone is all of the sudden Ben's biggest fans when we all know Tim is the man, anyone can snicker into the mic, and honestly Ben kinda sucks at internet searches. He's no Jaime
Ben’s laugh was pure dopamine to Tim’s brain causing to him to blurt out better jokes and utter absurdities at a high clip. Tim has no barometer for his jokes and that’s why it’s getting wack.
It’s not wack n#*%^= Tim will take a while to get his proper stride back, just needs to move on. Give it a little while and leave the poor man alone. You are too spoiled, you deserve nothing
This whole situation is the perfect time to bring in Lee Syatt. It would of brought some life back into the show while also giving Lee the boost he deserves
Holy shit actually keen on this. Lee is self improved now and doesn’t need to be around a drug junkie lol. But he is self deprecating and at least has tried comedy and not humourless but mainly he can easily bring in a great laugh for these morons who apparently need a laugh track
I know this is Tim Dillion's show, and Ben was just a producer. But his on air role, as minor as it may have been, had a huge impact on the dynamic of the show. Tim had someone to riff off of, and could pause to look at Ben in the midst of his rambling to throw something in there to make it even funnier. I got used to that dynamic, and grew to expect that dynamic because that was what kept me coming back each time. While I enjoy Tim's ramblings, having Ben to bounce off of just made it that much more sweeter. This podcast may need to overhaul the studio and/or style to separate it from the days with Ben. Seems like a sad divorced dad trying to make it work still.
As intelligent as your comment makes you seem, Tom Grasso, I have to question your "just a producer." Ben was a sidekick, and a personal assistant to a very VERY demanding pig. Ben was earning for the show a lot more than what Tim said he paid him: "about 44 grand a year." Ben earned at least twenty percent of the patreon--and I say give him nothing for all the other revenue sources--which would be about 44 grand a month. Later, if the patreon dips, and/or if other sources dip, then lower Ben's cut proportionately. Done and done.
Yes and no. Tim needs someone who has a stronger personality than Ben. Some of Ben's problem was that Tim didn't respect him and told him to STFU. Tim is very funny but extremely narcissistic and he's not good at covering that aspect of his personality up.
Great points. For me, listening to this episode without Ben made me realize Ben was always 'me' and 'us' as individual views. His presence almost made it feel like Tim was talking to me personally. And of course, Ben would usually laugh at the best bits that I'd be laughing at. And I just heard somewhere else the bits of the podcast where Tim viciously gaslit and attacked Ben (I'm not sure where that was originally posted cuz I listen to ever episode and I don't remember hearing these parts)... and it genuinely felt like Tim shitting on me personally and revealed an angle of TIm that I hadn't ever seen before, and I wish I didn't know exist.
yeah ben made the show relatable and really helped tim’s comedy shine. the ad reads, tim would just make shit up to crack ben up. and us up. the audience is important.
yeah the dynamic of Tim talking at/with a real human and trying to make BEN laugh was what made the show. We were just the audience secretly listening to their conversations. Now it's totally different.
Tim dillon filed a copyright strike against 2lazy2try a smaller comedy drama reaction page for calling out Tim's shady antics. So much for supporting that free speech and non censorship
@@boaz2578 yes really its super sad to see because tim dillon said free speech especially speech he doesn't agree with need to be uncensored this was his hill he chose to die on and now he's striking smaller channels with 20k followers
I wish it wasn’t true. I almost didn’t believe it but I have followed both Tim and and 2lazy and it’s sad to see it play out. Tim needs to wake up and stop being such a hypocrite. I was going to keep supporting him even after the Ben breakup but this was too far and really disappointing coming from Tim.
@@jarredfugleberg3994 mannn like these people are manic 😂😂. Like we’re on the side of the simulation where people imagine a stranger giggling. We’re fucked
Tim I genuinely love you man. You're the reason I got through my last horrible job and COVID. I will support you no matter what you do and wherever you go and do. Next time you're in Detroit I'm there man. However, please do everything in your power to get Ben back. I mean use anything and everything in your arsenal man. You guys are more of an iconic duo to me than salt and pepper. If he doesn't want to come back I understand. However, knowing that you still tried would mean the world to all of us who are fans of the show. God bless you and God love ya as always. Thank you for everything you do man. 👍👍
Let’s be real though.. it was mostly Tim and his hilarious rants, right? I feel like it’s always been 95% Tim then I’ll hear an obnoxious laugh and remember 5% Ben
This was actually a god and thought inspired rant. I liked the part about trading zelenski for Putin and would do so in a heartbeat. I believe Tim has traded Ben for various political prisoners.
It’s painfully obvious how much Ben brought to the show, even the articles he picked are bad. The suicide one could of been so great but it was just depressing. Ugh this is heartbreaking
@@dertythegrower there’s a lot to be said about having the confidence of your best friend right next to you. That’s the kind of energy that can take over the world.
I agree with Tim's anti-war posture. Once war starts, all the opinions for and against, all yt comments fly out the window, and kids are sent to face horrors that make men blind in fear, while the politicians stay behind in their mansions. War never did anyone any good.
I didn't realize the heart of this show was the relationship between Ben and Tim. It seemed they genuinely liked each other. It sucks this has happened. Tim is still funny but I dont feel as invested.
I love the comments! -Tim: We could all die a horrible death from the very inminent threat of nuclear annihilation! - Comment section: Haha take that Tim, you are nothing without Ben!
@@jarredfugleberg3994 well he's being satirical on a topic a lot of people are talking about. Nuclear war poisons those who aren't killed immediately at an atomic level. So as funny as he is, he's not wrong.
lol, I think this show was more serious in tone, it ended with Tim seriously telling us to contact our local representatives, he doesn't want to die in a nuclear war over nonsense. It's alright for him to be serious for one show, tell us what's seriously on his mind. I think his next show will be comical and with guests. Unfortunate. I've always skipped those shows for the Tim and Ben only shows. 😕
peanut butter without jelly is just something hard to swallow. RIP The Tim abuses Ben while we laugh show. TIm trying to make him laugh was what made so many great moments
Oh yipeee! It's not enough the entire world is going to shit, now the funniest man on the planet, the man who brought us Senator In The Woods The man who got us through lockdowns, the man who verbalises the things we dare not, has lost Ben. Gutted. Genuinely. Gentlemen, please, for the sake of humanity and continuation of society, please sort it out. You have no idea what you provide the world with but I promise you it's needed now more than ever. Love you both x
Remember when Tim said on a podcast with Whitney that it wouldn't make sense for him to do the show anymore if Ben left? This is kind of how the vibe of this ep feels, bring him back already the best part was the dynamic of the two
Ben definitely quit mentally along time ago. I bet having the pressure of the shows popularity made him stay but. It's not in Ben's blood to live the lifestyle plus he started with the show still just dating his wife. I've been married past two years and lived on the road as well. Let's just say as soon as ben got married this was gonna happen it's something that you can only do if your wife's on board and i think there's a reason we've met Devon chick and not Ben's
Things are always changing. Nothing stays the same for long. I hope Ben goes on to have a great career. This pig’s podcast is always going to be good to me regardless of the lack of background giggling. I remembering being seemingly entirely too affected by History Hyenas breaking up. Now DiStefano is killing in on all fronts whilst the true talent of the former duo struggles for views regardless of promoting on the biggest podcast stages out there. 😔
I wonder if Ben is still secretly listening to the podcast behind his wife's back and laughing (quietly so she doesn't hear him hiding in the wardrobe)
it's less the actual work and more the dynamic. Tim needed Ben to talk to/at, and have someone to make laugh in person. We were eavesdropping, just listening in to their conversation. Now Tim is talking directly at "us" or rather shouting into the microphone, and it's lost the energy that it had
Ads are ****ing brutal. Every 4-5 minutes. It totally tanks the ability to enjoy it. I can't even remember the last time I took the time to complain about the ads in the comments. Because I haven't seen ads this bad in years.
I still love you Tim, people grow apart and change, I appreciate you still and hope you find another producer that brings us joy but it’ll never replace the fun you and ben had. Thanks for being relentless and Savage as always
Tim's comedy is based on making people like Ben be uncomfortable. This is why he needs someone like Ben to get squirmy when he says things they deem contrarian to public opinion. He just needs someone to direct that too as he plays off a live audience and their reactions.
Hey Tim (and Tim fans) - someone used your name/info to file 2 false copyright claims on RU-vid (2 small channels). Both creators got a strike from RU-vid despite the content being fair use (short clips, not interfering with your traffic for anyone looking to watch the full episodes). Definitely looks like you reported these smaller guys because they were criticizing some things you said - or that's how it appears to anyone paying attention. But you're Mr. Free Speech and there's no way you could have actually felt they were infringing and violating fair use. Anyway; it doesn't add up. Either you're a crybaby bully hypocrite or someone is using your login to strike other channels. Either way, it's a bad look even for those of us who are fans of you before these small channels talking shit. Might be worth a look
All this time, I thought Tim was leaning into the outlandishness, aware of how crazy he sounded but simply doing it as a 'bit'. After listening to the Episode "Batgirl," where Tim grills Ben for what seems like an hour, I now realize that we're dealing with a delusional narcissict.
This was a funny episode, but I really do hope Tim gets a producer on-screen, even if it's not Ben. It's not the same without someone to the side of Tim as a human laugh track.
