Vultures 2 has now been officially released and everything Ye related at the moment is up in the air. #rap #kanyewest #vultures Socials linktr.ee/iuse...
And the part that tears me up the most is he FINALLY officially released a deluxe edition with 'can u be' and it's straight dog ass. Probably the worst iteration so far. It hurts!
kanye been spiraling since tlop. we all noticed. nobody cared because it made the music fire. but soon as the music is trash people wanna start having conversations about his mental health. im glad its happening now, but its shocking how long its taken for majority to gaf. yall thought kanye was saying "slavery was a choice" jusy for laughs. bro was going through it and we either clowned or villified him for things that in hindsight were signs that he needed help. but thanks to yes men in his circle and us continuing to consume and validate his steadily declining output, we end up with vultures 2 and people wanna act shocked.
I’m gonna go further and say Ye’s entire discography has been overshadowed by tragedy, bragging bordering and sometimes crossing into narcissism and saying out of pocket shit to get a reaction. A lot of that is just because rap culture has been like that from the beginning, but in the context of his entire life, saying “George bush doesn’t care about black people”, releasing a song calling himself a God and stealing the mic from Taylor Swift and saying later that’s what made her famous were more mild versions of what we’ve been seeing in the last 3 years. Like I said, there’s larger societal problems that enabled Kanye to get like this and for his fans to indulge him, but in a perfect world, he should have gotten a lot more help after his mom’s death than he did, and people around him should have been checking in on him a lot more than they did. A lot of shoulda woulda couldas, but to wrap it all up, genius and madness are not the same thing and suffering or making others suffer with your art and influence isnt any more authentic, and arguably can be less authentic, than art made from a good place.
@@adamandsethdylantooi dont think ye was saying outlandish things to get a reaction I dont think he said i love hitler to get a reaction or taking the mic of taylor to get a reaction He said he loves hitler because at the time he was really into God and he wanted to promote loving each other, While having issues with people who fucked up contracts and he saw them doing it to others so he called them out as he believed he is the leader people need and wanted to stand up for them Everyone ignored his actual message and instead just called him antisemitic He then said he loved hitler which was both his thoughts colliding Him mentioning hitler as the media was calling him a nazi And him trying to promote love as God said to love your neighbour = I love hitler I watched the alex jones and it was quite obvious Second the taylor situation He felt like they were robbing artists and just giving it to who fit they agenda weather u disagree or not thats how he felt and many others do also So him seeing this once again he sees himself as a leader so he wanted to stand up for what he believes in Defo the wrong time and place Then after always saying what he believed people started to call him crazy but a musical genius He then embraced it same way he did with the nazi thing people called him So he sajd his crazy while also saying that people call him crazy just because he stood up for what he believes was right and for others And thats why his not in their control Look at wat he said “ The preacher said we need leaders Right then, my body got still like a paraplegic” Then he says, “he believes his mission is to be the leader of the free world” The abortion thing where he started crying Not because he thinks people who do abortions are evil But because he once wanted a abortion for his daughter and not getting it was the best thing that happen and he wants others to feel that Thats why he said we need to get all the best leaders and figure out a way we can make it where familys can feel like they can have the baby and not have struggles through life that they feel they have to get a abortion Even giving a funny suggestion saying all mums get £million He calls himself a God because all though how many people demonise him yet flock running to get everything he releases makes him feel like a God and wants to embrace it He even says in a interview he asked for Gods help and God didnt help him He honestly thought he was doing right by God and he wanted to spread love saying we should try see the good in everyone and not demonise people with negativity Then to get even more demonised for saying that to the point he disappeared for a bit Then coming back and saying he asked for Gods help and God didnt help him Shows he was genuine and he then felt like his whole message and everything he thought was right was a lie Now his heavily leaning into sex and stuff basically just leaning into depression and negativity And now the nitrous stuff coming out its clear the guy hit rock bottom and has given up The guy is just highly misunderstood and ironically he doesnt articulate himself properly and when everyone demonises him for saying what he believes in and trying to be a leader standing up for people he embraces the names people call him and people funny enough hear that and demonise him even more To say he just says stuff for a reaction is incredibly lazy and shows u dont acc know what ur talking about The story of his career and him is much more complicated then “he says stuff for a reaction”
Idk how you can say he's been spiralling since tlop were the previous three albums were all directly about the spiral. Graduation to a lesser degree, but MBDTF and Yeezus were both explicitly about that spiral It's been so long that now we are acting like Kanye "I AM A GOD" West of the 2010s was somehow the old-ye. Even the slavery is a choice thing originates from a yeezus bar
Kanye removed anybody who questioned him out of his circle and only welcomed yes men. This is his fault. He’s homelander. He can’t stand people who tell him no but he also is disgusted by his yes men.
I'm at least satisfied that we finally have logical explanations behind why he's been the way he has this year. Because I've been saying he was washed for months. But now I know why! So there's a little bit of optimism in there hoping that if he stops he will be fine somewhere down the road, but they've already said he definitely has brain damage so who knows.
@@KuhmodoDude's probably forever damaged from ts if it's true. Most reasonable hope is that he comes clean and gets himself out of the celebrity spotlight.
Kanye surrounded himself with yes men and refused to hear anyone elses voice but himself and it finally caught up to him imo. His team is trying to salvage this album any way possible even dropping fan favorite leaks, his team doesnt care about him, and nobody around his circle looks like they care about his wellbeing its a sad situation but he brought it upon himself. Also, the cope I've seen from some of the stans is insane. Play any song from literally any of his other albums the drop in quality is insane
hes on the nitrous or smth, hes probably gonna die with HOW MUCH he has in store. nobody cares for him, and if anyone tries to care about him he removes them from his circle. only person that really cares now is north, and shes jst a kid.
@@justme2272he had a ww and made great music too, mbdtf was the start of Kim. Stop making it black vs white when it’s really good vs evil. There are def more evil bw that rappers date btw.
@@justme2272 I kinda have to agree, if he still had his mom I don’t think it’d matter but he doesn’t have enough black female figures around him to put him in his place 😂
He doesn’t take his time with his music anymore. He’s a musical genius but that’s so engraved in his head it’s ruining his perspective on his later music
I feel like he's been going off the rails noticeably since 2016, but he's such a brilliant artist that even bipolar incoherence couldn't stop him from putting out projects with incredible artistic vision. 2022 felt like the tipping point when he descended into true brain-slop. I fear the artist we loved is gone
@@iusedtobepay I like your honesty. Also…yes, I also thought the Vultures series thus far has been mid at best if you look beyond production, which I feel like even that’s been better in the past
To be honest I agree, Donda was his last good album, everything he dropped after that I was like what the hell is this ? But i completely agree with Kanye going down the DJ Khaled route, like being an executive producer or curator, he has enough experience to know how to make a good project so if he were to take a break, and come as maybe a mentor, he could probably save his career
I jumped the ship after his antisemitism. 2022 was the year he completely fell from grace and I was seeing it in real time. Divorce, unchecked mental health, and the people he surrounds himself around is what lead him to the current state that he is in. I am still a fan of his music but I do not rock with the current era. It’s straight up creative bankruptcy, but at the same time I don’t think he can continue to make stuff up to quality anymore either.
It’s true, in a way his current run is almost like a reflection on his life rn, going down a dark path, not really being inspired by a whole lot of anything, and maybe just straight not caring about anything
I think people look at Ye worse than Em honestly. Eminem says controversial things far less often in his everyday life and he doesn't go on unintelligible rants. No sex crime controversy that I'm aware of. And at least Eminem puts out finished music. Most of it these days isn't particularly noteworthy but at least it feels like he took the time to complete the songs
I should’ve been off the train with the “slavery is a choice and the orange guy stuff”. But when JIK dropped I really thought he turned it around. Then the “mustache man” stuff happened and I was done😅. Haven’t listened to Vultures 1 or 2
I don't know, the bigger issue to me is standards. Vultures 2 represented more than a dip in quality, but laziness, copy + pasting, and knowingly releasing unfinished material. I'm not even a Kanye fan but IDT Kanye from 5 or more years ago would do that.
Thank you for finally saying it. Ye would fit way more as a curator/exec prod now. When Vultures 1 dropped, people were looking at me sideways when I said it would be far better if Kanye just didnt rap on it. Youve got great takes as always
As someone who was in high school in Chicago (Humboldt Park) when Kanye dropped through the wire, he is def, unfortunately, washed up. There was nothing like being in Chicago at that time 😅 it was prime pre villain Kanye.
Kanye from 2003-2016 was Comparable to Bron, Kanye from 2017-2021 was Bron now, Great but not peak. The Ye we’ve gotten since 2022 has been MJ on the Wizards 🤣
@@OVO-Adolf Ye hasn’t been a terrible artist in the 2020s, he’s just making music far below his standard and is washed now. I compare MJs 20 ppg and no playoff run to Ye still being able to drop a great song like Carnival but can’t make a good album anymore.
@@navyvet2841 no, Kobe’s Career ended in 2016 and his fall off was way more sharp. Ye didn’t fall off a cliff until 2022. Before that he was declining gracefully
The Eminem comparación was on point, I feel like since the life of pablo none of his albums are at kanye standarts, the only one post TLOP that I still listen sometimes is “Ye” and just because is relatable AF
Def love your vids man. I agree with what you’re saying. It hurts to see Ye falling off but you either die a hero or… you know the rest of the saying 😔
The ppl who rly follow Kanye have been talking about an abusive relationship between him and his dentist who’s feeding him nitrous (laughing gas) and how he’s slowly dying bc of years of abuse. Kanye is known to be into nitrous and has for years and it’s genuinely possible he’s slowly killing his brain abusing the drug
"Falling off" is the most idiotic concept the public puts on creators in entertainment. Only non-creative normies are capable of being so asenine when assessing artists. Giving credence to "falling off" as a concept is as useful as saying someone was awake then "fell off" because they went to bed. They were hungry so they "fell off" because they had to eat. They were young and they "fell off" by getting old. "Falling off" implies that you think it's possible for anyone to "stay on". Relevence is based solely on the current perception of the masses, which is fickle, easily distracted, and often wrong. The sun rises, then it sets, and then it repeats. You'll fall off too, and then it'll be up to your children to carry on the torch of thinking and saying stupid sh*t.
I was born the same year as 808s, and as a teenager who enjoys kanye, i must say... VULTURES (1 and 2) are ASS. The journey from Droupout to Donda makes so much sense. Vultures being the ronchy and overly sexualized after the album named after his late momma, that he went out of his way to make the lyrics clean too. The VULTURES albums are like the fake pokemon cards in that one friends collection who also has abunch of really good cards.
I can’t believe it… the history repeats over and over… drugs fuck all… I thought Ye was the exception… his self-confidence is being destroyed by drugs…. WTF?? It’s 2024… nobody can help him? Really???? Where’s his friends? Where’s Jay Z, Rihanna, Kid Cudi, Keri Hilson, Bey, Kim K, Travis Scott…all the G.O.O.D Music crew??? I just can’t really believe it…
@MrCatz-py5gv oh I don’t think Jesus is King is for me im not religious, and outside of that im a bigger fan of his earlier style more than anything 🤷🏾♀️ unless the albums are better as a whole the stuff I was hearing from those rollouts weren’t really for me. I do like No More Parties in LA though lol
Kanye’s back now. The Korea show proved he’s still the same artist as long as he works hard. A collab album allows Ye to work less. I hope he moves on to something solo
There are some fan made posts on RU-vid of users compiling the best leaks for Vultures 2 into a comprehensive and satisfying album. Most have run times of 50-60 minutes. These videos maintain the original version of Vultures songs along with edits for songs like 5:30 where he mumbles the second half of the track. These videos have shown me that there was a classic album within those Vultures sessions. Unfortunately in this timeline Kanye never released it.
j cole predicted this with false prophets in 2016 when tlop came out🤯 plus why would ye have ALBUMS of great music, scrap it, only to release lower quality music? always hated that abt ye and carti looks to be on the same path but because of leaks
My son grew up with me blasting Kanye. I made him a Kanye fan. For a few years was in the top .01% listeners on Spotify. But things have changed and it’s really sad. Can’t lie, we’ve almost went through like a mourning period. And I HATE Kim K, but she really helped him or helped him hide it. Idk which one it is anymore. Very conflicted over this entire situation honestly. It hurts.
Honestly, i Feel Like Something Happened To Kanye When He Disappeared After Going On All Those Rants Exposing The industry. Then He Popped Up Married All Of A Sudden With A Different Mind And Spirit. Something About Him Just Been "Off" And What He's Doing On Vultures Goes Against Everything He's Been Building For Years Spiritually 💎👁
imo you can see that a Kanye album has no soul when it literally has NO KANYE and is instead using AI, no Kanye no matter the era would use AI of himself or mumble on a project that is supposed to be complete, only 2022-2024 YE would do that.
Kanye’s sound, even when it’s sloppy and unfinished like it is on vultures 2, is always creative and interesting. It sounds new and unique. A lot of other rappers just buy beats and rap over them. Their shit just sounds mainstream, Kanye’s shit sounds like it could only come from Kanye.
Kanye taking over the DJ Khalid lane would be amazing but unfortunately he doesn’t have the relationships in the industry to pull it off in my opinion. He’s burned so many bridges with officiates as well as labels that I don’t think people would want to touch him
In the words of Ice Cube stick to producing cause Kanye West was always a great musician but how he would make this trash is beyond me it's either sabotage or Zach Synder decline in quality.
we are kinda still in the donda era if you think about it, this is basiclly donda 4.... but yea me and you both bro. i heavily grew up on OLD KANYE. college dropout /producing for jay z/ late registration kanye west. this new kanye is HORRRIBLE!! to me he fell off after TLOP.
I appreciate all of the basketball analogies since I always compared washed artists to Celtics Shaq 😭😭 I’m glad that you’re able to realize he’s washed too since I believe he should retire. He’s also my goat, which is why I’m heavily disappointed in him too
It hurts bad and you know what he just didnt have enough of real Chicago, rooted folks around him. He is in a Hollyweird hole, that got him high as a kite, deteriorating 😢
Kanye West did what he had to do back then, and he did it well. Genuinely wish he retired and moved on with his life, because he already impacted the hip-hop genre in SO many ways. Truly disappointing
He’s definitely washed, with Nitrous in his system… But I don’t think that would’ve saved it, he really has changed a lot for the worse, not caring for himself at all really, he completely gave up on his art. Donda was like the last (mostly) beautiful album he had, Vultures 1 did have a good recognisable song, but aside from Time Moving Slow, I don’t really love any of the songs on Vultures 2.
The Mavericks Vince Carter point fuckin killed me hahaha, I’m dead. Super accurate tho, he is washed. But Kanye’s also been making music for a super long time, so it’s pretty understandable
Yep finally the truth is out I knew Kanye when he moved downtown Newark back in 2000 and he like a lot of producer's use other people's work he got the OTIS Redding beat from a producer from Newark that couldn't get it cleared he played it for all of us including Ye and that was 01 its been known amongst the people from that era in jersey who made that sampling masterpiece Njerz
Surprise album shouldn't be an excuse, cuz eminem put 2 surprise albums out and they sold over 100k first week and I consider kanye and eminem having the same amount of impact... It's sad that both of my goats are kinda washed
