Roys record is on Twin Galaxies. This guy just wants his hard work documented. It might not be interesting to some but to ones who dedicate weeks, months and years of spare time to achieve something and get cheated out of it bc of a corrupt system then you'd be pissed as well. Roy even challenged the so called world record holder at Missile Command and he said no. What champ would do that? Defend your title against all challengers. In the end Roy was right about Twin Galaxies, Billy Mitchelle and Todd Rogers back then. Now Twin Galaxies under new ownership is ran the right way.
What do you mean he said no? If you want to get the high score, just go for it and make sure your proof cannot possibly be denied. I love Roy, but Steve Wiebe got screwed and just kept trying.

Just did a podcast on the Twin Galaxies lore and Bill Mitchell. Roy Schildt is the most hilarious of them all though, would love to interview him if I ever ended up getting the chance. It's just too entertaining listening to these guys riff about fucking missile command.
While I agree with a lot of what Roy is saying as far as picking holes with TG is concerned.... there is one thing I don't understand. Roy says he did come across machines locally with large trackballs that were set to fast cursor setting. But that he would switch to slow cursor setting after a while. How can you just switch settings on the fly? You need the keys to the cabinet to get inside to switch it. Did the arcade manager let him do this? I doubt that....
People who are harsh as smoke point to a bad fire.....everyone whose been screwed over by The Billy Brigade(theyre lame, hence a lame name), should do a sequel to Chasing Ghosts/King of Kong and make them into a crazy weird trilogy.

If you are a world record player playing decades at a game and tweakers n cheaters are preventing you from holding that record, you'd be pissed being denied your world record title, especially when you've challenged the supposed record holder and they refuse to defend their title publicly. Now look at tg and Billy, both in court against each other and that's the same people denying Roy his record and now they've even turned on each other, Roy has been cheated and deserves his chance to challenge the holder in person, top score wins, in person winner takes all like a boxing match, no problematic issues that way with cursor speeds and whatever else. If you had a world record talent in something you'd probably want to show others too.
