Memories of the early days of Disco...Dancing in the gay discotheques in the French Quarter in New Orleans...Does anyone else remember Pete's on Bourbon St?...This song is like being in a dream and I want to be back there again.

I'm 15, and Donna always have made me dance. I've been listening her music since I was 9. She's the best singer in history, she was and still is the most important icon of disco. She's my favorite singer. We love you Donna!
And to think most people believed that she would be a one-hit wonder after "Love to Love You, Baby." She surprised everyone by releasing hit after hit. And when Disco grew sour, she surprised everyone again by demonstrating that she could sing all kinds of music -- not just "soft voice" disco. She revealed she had a powerful voice, capable of rock, synth, gospel, power ballads, classics, opera, and more. A whole new generation is discovering Donna Summer and discovering the true meaning of "talent."

One of the best disco suites ever! Hypnotic, sensual and sexy. Donna Summer's work with Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte was groundbreaking. Also mention Munich Machine, the Musicland Studio band who played on all of the early albums. What memories...this music will never die!
The Queen of disco....Donna Summer R.I.P, you brought so much joy to mine & I suspect a lot of people's lives. Your music gave me the gift of dance, to love with an open heart in my youth. I still carry those values today ❤. We will all miss you Miss Ladonna Adriane Gaines. 31 December- 17 May 2012. Best wishes to Brooklyn, Mimi & Amanda. Thank you to Bruce Sudano xx
