Donnerhall (1981-2002) had a successful career in the dressage sport. He finished 3rd at the 1994 World Championships at The Hague and won team gold.
He will be remembered for the quality of his offsprings. He was ranked 1st of the WBFSH rankings in 2007 and was 2nd in 2009. You can find Donnerhall in the pedigree of Don Schufro, De Niro and many others.
12 years after his death, he still had direct offsprings representing him at WEG 2014. They were Damon Hill, Digby and Donnperignon. At the 2012 London Olympics, the whole silver medal german team was made up of Donnerhall's progenies. The horses were Damon Hill, Desperados (xDe Niro) and Diva Royal (xDon Frederico)
