Impossible to be heard in 1970 at Wigan... the '72 version is different to the '65 version. This has no horns and guitar solo. I prefer the old one... still a good song though.

Genuine question from a Mod/Soul fan that never made it to Wigan (bit too young). I bought this version at some time in the mid 80s and thought I'd been dumb for buying a cheesy re-recording. Now I'm hearing this was the version that was actually played at Wigan?
