The Osmond parents don't get enough credit for the exemplary job they did in raising their children. They are all humble, kind, thoughtful and not the least bit egotistical. In a world where we see so many children who were megastars as youngsters become derailed by drugs, alcohol and narcissistic fame, the Osmonds have remained as down to earth as anyone you might meet on the street. And, they seem to be raising their own children with the same attributes. Kudos to the parents of the Osmond family on the great job raising their incredibly talented children! They have given us the gift of great music for decades :)

I've also heard that they never took a money from their kids. I feel there are so many stories of parents/guardians in Hollywood using their children for gain. I also heard that Donny felt a lonely sometimes because instead of going out partying, he would stay in his hotel room. Probably saved his life from drugs.
What a sweet baby. He is so comfortable with his daddy. Which means Donny is a good one. I never understood why this show was canceled. It was fabulous.
@sharonjensen3016 , and so do girls! I don't know what my sister and I would have done without our Daddy! I'm 65, she's 62, and our Dad has been gone for 16 years. We still miss him so very much. We are blessed to still have our Mom, who is 92!
My old mate we used to call her "little mo" ( her name is Maureen, we worked together many years ago ) she idolized the Osmonds. Especially Donny. Maureen will be 65 now. Last I heard she still mad about the Osmonds, even gave a percentage of her wage the " the Mormon church "
I ❤️this! Donny didn’t even try to hide his emotions, like many would. He nearly cried. I did cry for him, like so many others. It is so obvious what his family means to him and how they in turn feel about him. All of his boys hugged him even though the cameras were rolling. Just a natural reaction of mutual love for your family, as it should be. Sad that so many families don’t have this, when this is the way it should be.
I totally agree 100%.I am going through a rough time with my family at the moment.My brother and sister have had a massive bust up and now they do not talk to each other.So i am carrying a very big heavy burden on my shoulders at the moment and it is not nice that there are 1 nephew and 2 nieces involved in the middle of it all.As i am the peace keeper of the family and the oldest out of the children i would like my brother and sister to sort out their differences and make peace with each other.Every day i have to put on a brave face but deep down inside i am hurting.
You can tell that he was raised in a very tight loving family. It's to bad we don't see to many with these family traits anymore. I am so happy I got to see them in concert so many years ago. When I tell strangers which is constantly that my family still gets together constantly to have family parties and that we all hang in there for each other everybody looks dumbfounded like it's so rare I can't believe how many people don't get together how many brothers and sisters hate each other for the dumbest things They need to give up that anger and get back together because their family they will always always be ups and downs with family people need to stay together

The Osmonds are an amazing family. They have supported each other through the most difficult of times. I have been a fan of them since I was 12 years old (now 60) and will love them forever. You can see on Donny's face how much he loves his family. Felt very emotional watching this. God Bless them all.

It's fun to watch their old videos. I grew up in that era and always loved watching them on the Andy Williams show. They were all over the television 📺 back in the 60's to the 80's and then back again. They have always been a fun family to watch.

My oldest son was about 23 when he started telling me, "Happy Father's Day." I questioned him about it. He replied,"Because you did it all mom, you were our mother and our father!" This just melted my heart. I raised three great, caring, respectful young men.💙💙💙

I loved Donny as a teenager and I still do. I was so so mad,like millions of other girls were, when Donny married Debbie. Now I am older and I still love Donny. The one thing that Donny got right, is marrying Debbie. She makes him happy. And I am thankful for that. I wish all the Osmonds happiness, since they and Donny have made me happy with their music and the tv show with Donny and Marie. That is what I wish for them and their family

Forever loved Donny Osmond! Class act all the way! My first concert was seeing Donny when I was 10 yrs of age and wow many girls my age had a super crush on Donny! He sang lol laughing so hard n they call it puppy love! ah yes yesterdays can be remembered and enjoyed!
I feel so lucky to have met Donny about 4 years ago, you will never meet a more caring genuine man, he is amazing on stage, bags of energy and very fit for his age, ( what a beautiful soul he has) love him.

I sprained (almost broke) foot at concert, while waiting to get autographs, when the steel gate we were standing in front of broke off it's hinges when girls started to climb over it and it landed on my foot. Didn't get autograph but blessed to have seen them. Wonderful family. Thank you
This came up on my feed and I am so happy that it did. I watched anything with D&M way back when. This was and still is such a loving family. So glad they are still around today and living life to the fullest. Donny on the Masked singer blew me away. Now it's Marie's turn. She did great on DWTS but she needs to show off her chops. Again such a beautiful, loving and caring family. I would love to see a show on what they have done since their tv show and about their families now. Much love and happiness to them all! 🌺
So sweet!! What a great Father’s Day surprise! I met Donnie when I worked for the airlines in Buffalo. I had the privilege of escorting him on the plane early to stand in the jetway and board first before I started boarding other passengers. Donnie was very appreciative and such a real gentleman. The only thing I wished I had of done was ask him to sign his boarding pass for me.
Beautiful family! I remember in the 70's every Friday night sitting in front of the tv so I could manually record the "Donny & Marie Show" on my big bulky audio recorder! I even excluded all commercials and if ANYONE made so much as a PEEP I would turn around and give the dirtiest look ever!! Lol! 💜
Grew up seeing the Osmond Brothers on TV. Accidentally saw Donny sing live after 2000 north of Ventura CA (n that area for work) & taken back! Great singer with quick wit, sincere personality, & good looks! He went into diff songs, told brief past stories, & grt eye contact.
So true. My mom was a super mom. My absentee father abandoned us when I was about 8. Even when he was still living at home he was not there. Never brought money home. Always spent it on his little whores. My mom worked her fingers to the bone to support me and my 4 brother’s. She worked all day. Did the neighbor’s laundry. On weekends she would cook and sell meals to the neighborhood. She would look for deals. I am not ashamed to say we were goodwill kids because it shows how much she cared. There was always food on the table, clothes on our back and a roof over our heads.
I have loved these two since I was a preteen I watched the variety show listen to their music they are a class act. I just have one question. Is Donnie still a fanatic with the purple socks? LOL

I remember an interview he gave about how he treats his son's, instead of hitting them, he used a different technique. His father grew up in a different time and back then hitting was the only way to discipline children. Only in movies and TV were children not hit. God bless the Osmond family, all of them.
