@@DarrellTurnerJrI loved Don BUT he was a stubborn old bastard stuck in his ways lol.....loved his blitz packages and man when they worked it was exciting.....but he was stuck on his ways and didn't want to adapt or change his packages throughout the game if it wasn't working lol......but I like what we have now, not as exciting, but absolutely dominates with total balance
@@blankname6629 I would have ran a 3-3-5/4-2-5 (soon as they started dropping bombs) or with the threat of the run, a 3-5-3. Possibly zone blitz/delayed blitz packages . . . I'm surprised that they didn't go back and watch old game film to see that cover zero is trash. That only works when you don't have a threat of a passing game
Yep, I moved after Christmas so the 1st weekend was in January. I got the Columbus Dispatch and on the front page they had a picture of Chris Speilman and what he ate. Yes on the front page. I did not know who Chris Speilman was a that time. Why, because I came from outside 270.
Seriously: How did you miss including him coming into the stadium? The rest of the team comes out all heads-down and serious, The Don comes out skipping and blowing kisses to people in the bleachers. Instant classic
Actually that flowed perfectly together, team comes out about business and one of the last guys sends his condolences for what was soon to come 😎 all about perspective
this OL might be the best in program history. not exaggerating either. truly is special. big credit to sherrone moore and big thank you to Oluwatimi for choosing to transfer here
I will say, all season.. Michigan coaching staff's ability to analyze what a team has does in the 1st half, make adjustments, come out of the lockeroom and just SHUT A TEAM DOWN is impeccable. 😎💙💯🙏🏼👍🏼 Whew Go Blue dude sheesh. That was aggressive!
I agree. When something is not working, to keep doing the same thing is insane. Harbaugh, and the coaching staff have been excellent all season in evaluating the first half, making the necessary adjustments, and then coming out to win the game. What a great season! Go Blue.
@@andronicase Not only that; ever since Urban Liar was replaced by Ryan Gay, OSU's philosophy changed so drastically that lots of recruits decommitted from there. The DB (Defensive Backfield) has been the most glaring example of my point. Nvrthlss; gotta luv how U-M BBQ-ED & CASTR8D THOSE NUTS ON STEROIDS & FLUSHED THAT TOILET BOWL!!!!!! BTW; FUCK THE FUCKEYES; GO BLUE!!!!!
@@andronicase and given how the playoff loss went down, what wasn't working was the offense in the first half and the defense could only do so much. The defense really just had to be hell bent on trying to limit big plays and TCU did a great job adjusting to overcome that. Michigan's offense did excellent scoring 39 points in the second half. Because of the first half, the defense was not in the same position as previous games to do what they did shutting teams down. All of the games pre-TCU were Michigan leading or trailing by
We've heard it for weeks now how scary good Ohio State was. Turns out that they're completely human ... and fallible. For me, it was a very satisfying game. Go Blue!
With both Corum and Edwards in the backfield next season, Harbaugh should consider adding some wishbone offensive plays in the red zone. I mean the wishbone is so old, nobody remembers how to defend it.
@@craigtomlin5986 Nah. Hell for Woody would be losing to Michigan game after game for eternity! _All joking aside?_ I don't believe hell is a pit of fire. I believe it's separation from God but being able to see what those who AREN'T separated get to enjoy.
A Donovan Edwards touchdown to seal the deal against OSU. 3 million dollars Hearing Mike Morris at the 8:16 say, "y'all weak as fuck, y'all weak as fuck break that shit....priceless!
We are a national POWERHOUSE once again. Thank you Jim Harbaugh, thank you to these men that went out and kicked Ohio states ass up and down the field. What a time! Go Blue! 💛💙
Just love it, that 3rd quarter you can start to see Michigan’s running game starting to progress and then that 4th quarter Donovan Edwards took over. GO BLUE!!
That's insane he was catching passes with a broken hand. As someone who broke his hand this past May, he was in pain on every catch and collision. This performance is impressive. I said it before, he's reminds me of Brian Westbrook.
I like the idea, but please don't say that until we win One. I only say this because I live in the Austin, TX area, and every year "Texas is back". Don't be that guy. Yes, we handled our business...but there's a lot more work that needs to be done. All of that being said: Day is out of his depth without Meyer recruits, while we've been steadily building the Powerhouse team of the B1G. Here's to a disciplined, well-manage game on Saturday.
The 1st Thing he did was give Thanks to God! What a MAN!! He gave thanks and Praise! Kids, that is the kind of person U want to be!!!! Talent? Oh yeah, but realizes all things good are created by God!!! We need to wake up and Give Thanks and stop the Evil one!!
This was a epic beat down . Plus a guy with a broken hand runs for over 200 yards against you . Beat Ohio down , took their heart ,destroyed their soul.
Edwards is just as talented as Corum if not even more honestly, don’t get me wrong I LOVE Blake but as far as raw talent/potential it’s Donovan, I’m not sure Blake will have a significant NFL career but Donovan Edwards absolutely will
Between the wide open receivers, the offensive line wearing down osu's D-line, and Donnie running hard as always it's tough to pick a favorite play from this big win. GO BLUE!!
8:14, Michigan's Mike Morris: "Y'all weak as fuck! Y'all weak as fuck! Break that shit! Break that shit!!" **Proceeds to symbolically shatter block o over his knee.** LMAO.
Unbelievable how many bodies OSU committed to the line of scrimmage on defense with 0 adjustments. They got no shot vs Michigan in a rematch with this D What did you think Michigan was going to do?
Ohio state fans brag about how they dominated Michigan for 10 straight games but I doubt any of those Michigan teams were half as good as this year’s buckeyes. WOW
On Donovan’s first TD run Ohio had one deep safety. On his second TD run Ohio had no one deep. I don’t understand the Ohio’s DC plan. Any explanations will be appreciated.
Go blue they out. Played Ohio State for the second straight year the tables our turning and who ever we play next they better be ready for the wolverine attack in the air and on the ground
