Hey People,
This is the first #donschallenge and I would like to see what you guys think so please comment below!
Learner drivers vs tailgaters with motorcycles to the recue. New drivers learning how to drive on public roads get a hard time from other road users and this challenge is to raise awareness to others NOT to tailgate and drive so close to learner drivers.

Thank you! I wish more drivers would understand this. When people are so close behind me I panic so much. They cause me to stall and I never stall, only every happens when I'm trying to rush off because I hate the thought of pissing someone off

Love this! people don't have any patients or consideration, just always in a rush to get where they are going. I remember being a learner (just haha) and I would make mistakes I wouldn't have usually if someone was sat up my ass.

Yes totally with you! I understand people are in a rush but we should consider learner drivers are completely new and should be given extra space... I still do this when I see it happen :)

I’m a learner, once was doing 65 in a 60 with a polo right up my arse (With high beams on). Long story short I slowed down to about 35-40 in places he couldn’t overtake like blind bends and went back to 65 on straights 😂😂

L plates are honestly just red flags to a bull for some people, I really don't get it. As a learner I actually feel safer having another learner behind and/or infront of me than someone so close to my cars butt I can't see their wheels.

I want to go and do my DAS but my fiance don't want me to because I was in a crash about a month ago

Well I always say do the DAS if you are prepared to come off, as stupid as it sounds. It is dangerous to be on two wheels. Today another biker in a group ride crashed because of experience or lack of. You need to take your time, get the experience on the road and the feeling being on two wheels, is amazing! Start with getting your CBT if you are thinking about it. Always good to start in a 125cc and work your way up! I will be making more videos on how to stay safe too.

In that case I highly recommend doing the DAS course! You will be safer on the road in the long run. I find 125cc can be dangerous because of low power and no presence on the road. It is a must to get a 125cc to learn but if you have been on it for so long... you need to convince your fiance. At the same time it doesn't mean you will not come off.

@@TheDonInLondon I did convince my fiance to let me then some new driver pulled out on me i couldn't stop in time and crashed lol. If the driver had her p plates on I would have expected her to do something like that.
