Hi folks, something a little different for the channel, who knows some of you out there might like piano and guitar like i do! And also, Ideally it would be a real piano, miced up and would be great, alas thats not possible for me right now! and many of you also no doubt.
Anway, my point is that if you want the best sound, the best quality feel for as little outlay as possible there isnt a better way to do it then this route. I have tried alot of digital pianos in lots of price points and always come back to this. Of course there is still place for digital piano, they are all in one, speakers built in, potentially easier for live use. But if you already have a computer at home, you dont even need a audio interface for this to work out. then i think this is the best option for you.
The software used was from NATIVE INSTRUMENTS.
specifically the 'Alicias keys' 'The grandeur' and 'The Giant'.
There is other software that does a similar thing and will work just as well, these are the ones ive found to be most useable with added features like reverb, tunings etc and are often in sale fairly affordable at around £45.00 per VST.
Worth mentioning, if you go this route and do decide you want an audio interface, The Focusrite Scarletts come with a choice of 3 piano VSTs from Addictive Keys.
