Despite a drink too many and less than her usual musically flawless performance this woman continues to stand head and shoulders above everyone else on the contemporary scene. She sings with such purity of soul and heart and love that you have to be a rock not to be moved by this, even to tears.
@@itspierre8228 she still has the exact same personality, the only difference is that she doesn't do the extreme costumes, because this is a jazz show in vegas, so of course she wouldn't, she's saving those for pop tours.
@@badbittyxo I mean, isn't not having any costume ideas left a good thing? That means she said all she's wanted to say. A good portion of her costumes were political statements, so it'd just sully the message behind them to wear them repeatedly. And they're designer outfits so they're really expensive too. And have you seen her recent tours? They're just like her old ones! So she's just not going crazy as often because she doesn't want to as often any more, which is natural because she's older. Plus, who tf cares if she doesn't do crazy stuff as often anymore, if that's all you were a fan for, then tbh you were never a real fan in the first place.

Her Oscar tribute to Julie Andrews was vocally almost flawless. Her performance of Shallow was only hindered by Bradley Coopers stage fright. And her Super Bowl performance was also vocally up to par. One performance does not constitute vocal decline. Her technique has significantly improved since she first came out and continues to improve as she becomes more versatile. Idk what you lot are on about.

I understand you are a stan, as I USED to be, but I just don't see the person I fell in love with a decade ago. Besides her cold, she just isn't interesting anymore. She's turned into a mundane hollywood celeb and its boring. AHS Hotel was the last thing that she did that I enjoyed. I understand that the culture has changed where over the top performances and personas are no longer en vogue and everyone wants 'raw' and 'real' but the raw and real is just another persona, just a bland one.

Please, this is the same behavior people showcased during ArtPop they criticized her for not being who they were used to. She’s doing what she wants, don’t like it? @@EvahDestruction You're confusing me with a troll. I have reasons for why I don't like what I don't like, it isn't just vitriol. I stopped liking her in 2012 during the passive aggressive Kelly Osbourne incident, when she bought millions of dollars worth of fur and wore a different fur coat every day for like 2 months and when she was smoking pot int he back of her Phantom. Those are among the many reasons I stopped 'stanning' although I never called it that because I had rational reasons for why I liked every thing that i liked. I loved Fame, the perfume, still do. And even after all of that, I actually LIKED Artpop...a lot. SO no, it isn't edgy of me, its just me having own opinions. I don't think she's lost her touch... I just don't think shes as interesting as she used to be. I'm not discounting her abilities (although I def can see where it looks that way with the original comment but I digress). I actually really loved Artpop come to think of it... I didn't like "Dope" or Mary Jane holland but thats about it. Although I didn't like Dope I LOVE "I Wanna be with you"...its probably one of my favorite songs she's ever done. I didn't like Joanne...just not my taste but I did like a couple of songs from it. So no... I'm not equivalent to those who suddenly didn't like Artpop. I've never cared about a single popstar/artist before or after Gaga. I didn't give a shit about Britney, I thought Christina could sing well but never really cared about her as a person, I don't care about Taylor Swift or Arianna Grande. I lived Gaga because she was interesting and artistic, things that I no longer really see from her because she has moved on from that and good for her... I don't want her to do what she doesn't want to do but it doesn't change the fact that I DO feel duped by the whole thing that she is totally the antithesis of who she used to be IMO. I don't care about celebrities... I don't care about how great she can sing if what she is singing doesn't mesh with my personal taste. I like the conceptual albums which may be gimmicky and may have been somewhat orchestrated by her old management.... so theres conflict there...was what I loved actually her or was she forced to do those things? We will literally never know. The person I see now IS NOT the same person for better or worse. I still believe shes talented and A GOOD PERSON but I don't have to appreciate things that I don't enjoy. I am happy for her that she's doing what she enjoys and I'm extremely proud of her acting abilities and ASIB (although I actually didn't like the movie personally) So don't equate me with 'them'. I have reasons for what I don't like, I'm not just going against the grain. I think shes beautiful. I think shes talented but I no longer find her interesting and honestly, I don't ever think we will see that avante garde 24/7 Gaga ever again and that is what I enjoyed. I enjoyed the modern Marchesa Casati... a living work of art but that's gone and shes a hollywood star putting on a show in Vegas...a show that isn't as interesting IMO! to the original performances... The costumes are nowhere near as beautiful, artistic or intricate, etc. It just isn't my cup of tea. But don't criticize me for being critical of a person that heavily influenced me for a few years... I have the right to feel like I was duped whether it was by her or the management. If she came out with her next album and it was great...I'd support it and consume it. I'm not here to support anyone 'no matter what' that isn't who I am...
