The variety of environments in this DLC is actually wild. Those fingers ruins are actually so beautiful.

You should also include Rellana's cameo Talisman as it increases attack power after maintaining same stace which this AOW does

The top recommended video starts the shadow keep section with “ok so you come from the east and go through the church district, then when you get to the specimen storehouse you go to the top and drop down to the middle. Then run here (2 seconds after a camera cut) and take the lift and go to this site of grace (didn’t name a single grace)” I had never even been to the church district so a video like yours is so refreshing after something that unhelpful is the top video.

WARNING !!! As soon as you go past the "Bridge Leading To The Village" Grace. It is going to trigger the Great Rune breaking. Which could ruin some side quests if you are interested. Save this sword for later if you dont wanna mess up a ton of side quests. If you dont care, then go for it.

I didn’t think this would progress my world this much without killing any bosses. Now all the other NPCs have been affected while I was just trying to set up to make sure I didn’t miss the sword.

For those who did all the steps and he didn't disappear, just choose every dialogue option below the purchase menu then reload the area. (If that doesn't work, purchase every spell he sells, idk which one did it for me)

So all I did was defeat the invader that gives you the claws then the boss but now the Npc that’s has the weapon is not there so is there something I’m missing

Homeboy didnt have the pet with him the time b4 he dissappears, but it still appears everything is fine..i havent actually killed that finger monster yet but his throne opened up and everything seems fine for when im strong enough to take this boss on.

If you give her the grace you get her as a summon and if you go to that festive village and drop down to the tower theres a puppet you can pair with the summon, sadly missed the sword.

So close. If I can get past that boss fight I'm home free. Got it down to half health then that huge back sphere takes me out

I was really hoping I could rush to get this but in reality it's a rush to fight that boss, which makes me just wanna take my time to eventually get to that sword now.

If you fancy a shield to match the sword and you like the armor Yolan wears, you can find them in Bonny Jaol. If you followed this guide, you should've unlocked the teleport to Bonny Village, then cross the bridge to the south and hug the righthand side until you reach the entrance to the dungeon. Scour the dungeon and you will get the armor, and not far from that is the shield. Enjoy!

That finger boss was probably the easiest boss I’ve encountered in the DLC so far… Since we have to time to prepare, I loaded up on damage negating talismans and bullgoat armor, Mohg’s spear, and Shabriri’s woe. Then used mimic tear so it would be a very tanky target constantly drawing aggro. Then I swapped back to my normal gear and took off the woe talisman. While my mimic was getting the tar beat out of it, I was using the repeating crossbow and just riddled her with burred bolts and bloodbone bolts. Every once in awhile she’d hurl an attack at me but it didn’t kill me so I was able to get back up and heal. She mostly paid attention to the mimic though. Killed her with bleed damage and neither me nor my mimic had any blessings whatsoever. Honestly this boss feels way more like the base game bosses, big slow and easy to dodge. Meanwhile every other DLC boss has super high combos near impossible to dodge or get close enough to hit back…

Theres a bug/glitch in the questline. If you sound the first horn in the south. Then get the iris of occulation at the fort of reprimand. Fast travel to the cathedral, ymir wont be there and you can move his chair and do the boss fight. Im not sure if this will break the game. I didnt sound the second bell. I didnt go through with the invader or boss fight and fast traveled to get prepared. When i got back ymir was there again.

I’ve done all the steps and got all the maps and talismans and items but he won’t disappear no matter how many times I travel or rest. And I have exhausted all dialogue

As someone who loves katana it’s amazing however there a bug with it as it’s supposed to scale with magic as well but doesn’t the devs have said that they are working on it then it will be the true broken beast it should be

So I’m going to mention that in the shadow keep it’s the “2ND FLOOR” grace, he didn’t specify and thought I already had it when it was the “1st” floor that I had.

For some reason after the second finger bell when I got back to the guy he doesn’t have the hand in his arms ?

I was able to open the secret passage after the first ruin by accident. I missed out on the new black spell.

The first item you got the tree worm that popped up in the video also gives u it. Gotta drain the water and kill the worm

You can only get 2 of the same iris per playthrough. Choose your quest order carefully.

Why did they give it magic damage if it dont scale into intelligence at all? Not only that, the charge up takes too long to pull off the ash of war in a dlc filled with swift and fast bosses. I love the design so much that i just had to have it in my possession tho. Wish it was quicker
