Thx for another excellent review Chris. So great with trustworthy reviews that test things properly and gives you an honest opinion on things. So many "reviews" on RU-vid today are basically just people paid to list the features that you could look up on the companies website. I'd love to see reviews of tablets (and laptops) running Windows. And more mini pc reviews, you're one of the few honest reviewers of mini pcs out there, I keep recommending you to other people in the mini pc community.
Thanks well I reviewed that Robo and Kala Windows tablet lately and the Huawei and Asus laptops. It's down to what companies will send me and some interesting ones I may buy
Fantastic review. Shopping for tablets so keep them coming. The tablet market is finally getting interesting. So few choices just a couple of years ago.
Hi Chris. thanks for the great video. My son has the teclast m40 pro and im considering upgrading to this from amazon uk. Is there any better options you would reccomend. Mainly used for gaming and you tube etc. cheers
Will the dogee tablet be good for games? Like for example, I usually play a lot of Roblox and minecraft on my phone but i like playing games on a bigger screen like a tablet. Curently, i have a vastking kingpad k10 pro tablet but it isnt all that great when it comes to games. Im trying to buy a new tablet that can be able to run my favorite games with good graphics also with watching movies and youtube videos. The dogee tablet meets almost all my expectations and i want to know if it is good to run roblox or minecraft without any lag
Hey there Chris, thanks as always for the review. I quite like this tablet, seems like a decent all arounder. A tad too pricey at 250€ i got to say, but i bet it will go down fast in a couple of months. Under 200 will easily win against the other chinese tablets, and Samsung is not really trying in the lower end. Unexpectedly poor battery life though, the G99 sips power and yet the SOT test was on the lower side, they clearly have problems somewhere if the stated 8500mah battery is of good quality.
Yes a bit overpriced I felt, like you say once that price comes down it will be a good deal. Doogee also sent me the T10 and T20 version so cheaper options but not as good.
Just bought this and it has an android 13 update right out the box to fix the color options... I have a bug on mine where if you try to go into the memory expansion, it just closes out back to the home screen. That's my only problem but I'm loving it so far. Video on my channel. It has android 13 right out the box. Nice video! Got my subb!
I was on the verge of hitting the Buy button but thought a review check would be handy, thanks for all this info... I have now removed it from my basket. too many let downs and crafty info and no Android 13 is a no no. I would rather pay more for a proper one than a pretender. Thanks for the review. ..... no stylus in the UK product either !
There is a blue blinking light besides the camera ..when i run RU-vid Video its blinking.. that make me crazy.. how can i turn off.. i turn camera and speaking off..there is still the blue blinking light
Thank you for this great review, I was able to buy one and so far I'm enjoying this. My only problem is that I'm having a hard time finding a stylus pen with a palm rejection for this tablet, since I mainly use this for note taking and work. I'd love to hear any suggestion
hello Thx for another excellent review Chris Does this tablet support other stylus pens such as lenovo precision pen 2 and palm rejection for taking notes and drawing?
Battery testing app shows 6h 39min Chris: real world use 7-8h Battery testing app shows 12h Chris: real world use 7-8h I really love your reviews Chris and your channel is 1 out of 3 in my notification alert list but we don't understand weather we should expect more or less than the battery testing app result! It's been going on for a while now and i let it slip but that tablet right there is from 2017 and just doesn't deserve dressing it up.
@@Techtablets I was wondering about that too 😆😆 Usually you’d have a sample of camera but not in this one (I really have to say that I watch every single second of your video😍) Thank you again for your reply!
Anyone here who know how to flash a Chinese rom LENOVO YOGA TAB 13 YT-K606F from Chinese rom to global rom?? Please techtablets, can you help me? Im stuck at android 12 and Android 13 is out for global users and most likely the zui china rom will never update to 13. And i cant even use Lenovo smart rescue as they "dont support chinese tablets" imagine that!!
I think this looks good all-around. A lot of features that aren't always standard on tablets like these. Finding a tablet with a headphone jack seems tough these days. LTE support looks great. It's a little overpriced I agree, but there are luckily some deals on it.
where a link to this tablet that u r reviewing, with a DUAL sim slot, what is the mdl # of the tablet that u have in hand.. it doesnt seem to be available for sale that i can find, ur link is only a WiFi tablet, no sims
Yes if they send it to me, but they don't answer my emails. I have the Teclast T50 Pro, Doogee T10S & T20S also coming and the NPad N1. 4 more budget tablets over the next few weeks!
Any chance you've looked at the T30 Ultra? Amazon have the Pro and Ultra on huge sale at the moment and I really want a new tablet. i see the ultra has a little more ram but wondering if there are any downsides.
@@adamc1694 no max on Amazon UK but at the moment the pro is £159 and the ultra £179. Can't find out the ultra screen brightness. Seen some say it's only 250 nits whereas the pro is said to be 350.
@@anthonyexmouth I know. I did the same research myself before. I ordered it from AliExpress. Yes, from China so finger cross. T30 Max is much brighter. I believe it is 600 nits, better camera, more storge 512G, latest Android 14 OS. Not that much more expensive so why not.
Not bad, not bad at all, hope this kind of brand gets Snapdragon chips too, with the tablet like this, Snapdragon 778G would be efficient for this tablet
I just picked up a 2022 64GB S6 Lite, the Helio G99 looks to be a tad better so it should play some GameCube games well via emulation. Good job pointing out the virtual RAM, I'm seeing sellers using the total RAM as a selling point instead of what's physical. Sad seeing China-tabs with larger amount of RAM and Rom compared to big brands like Samsung. My S6 Lite has 4/64GB RAM/ROM with 4GB virtual. Guess the trade off is more Android updates and a better pen. LOL, it's a wireless keyboard because you have to plugin a cable to the USB C port. 🤣Question is, will you be able to use the OTG function while the tab is docked with the KB-case like my old Chuwi Hi-Pad X that couldn't. Bonus points for the preinstalled screen protector, shame my S6 didn't come with one and I have 2 dust bubbles when I installed mine. :( Nice seeing a 3.5 jack with those 4 speakers, just about all tabs I seen with 4 ditch the jack. My old Chuwi had 2 speaker ports on the rear while only 1 had an actual speaker. The bezels are fine for tablets since you have to hold it most of the time but I would have to give this Tab a fail for having a fake camera, just no excuse and is misleading.
Yes really annoying how they are all now saying like 12GB of RAM or 16GB when half is virtual and it's just plan misleading. Maybe I should sell my PC with 128GB of RAM when 32GB is real the rest caching.
Is the giveaway when they put 8GB+8GB? Does that mean the other 8GB are virtual? Great reviews that include the info I need. I have been binge watching your videos. OMG! How hard it is to find a decent mid range tablet with a 3.5 jack!!! All the rest you have to choose between charging and your headphones. I am looking for an 11" or 12" with Android 12 or 13, and decent speed, but hard to find one that also has 4G LTE. Can you suggest any or any other videos of yours? Thank you!@@Techtablets
Yes and plenty more to come! I have the Teclast T50 Pro, Doogee T10S & T20S also coming and the NPad N1. 4 more budget tablets over the next few weeks!
It's a great tablet but very annoying that they lie about the battery capacity. Just stick a 5000mah in there. Don't put a 3000mah in there and then sell it as a 8500mah.
I WAS INTERESTING TO BUY, BUT AFTER YOU TELL US THE TABLET IS 546KG MEAN IS MORE THAN 1TONE HEAVY, THIS IS MOST HEAVY TABLET IN HISTORY. I CANT HANDLE A TANC WEIGHT
Does not look bad, but I fail to see the target audience. Who is supposed to buy this? It costs 270 GBP. For 315 GBP you can get an iPad (today's Amazon prices). Okay, it has 4G and 256GB storage (which costs extra with Apple), but I'm still hesitant... (Edit: Just reached the end of the video, where you mention that you find it pricey. I guess I commented too early... I agree with you)
Yes I could not overlook that price if it was $200 USD okay fine but the current price even with Netflix is too much. But watch this space, it will drop quickly as it has to!
I got one of these. Got the magnetic keyboard. Attach the keyboard and the USB-C will no longer recognise any external memory. Also, tap on Memory Expansion in Settings and Settings instantly shuts down. I paid £149 for the tablet and £37 for the keyboard. I wouldn't pay anymore for this tablet, certainly not £300. Better off spending a bit more on an iPad.
All well and good but.....The sound from the 4 speakers sounds like from a tin can. Zero percent bass, listening to music hurts the ears, why then the 4 speakers ?? 😂
