The endings with his typing on the computer were always so relaxing to me... I had only learned a few years ago that it was an ASMR and I like typing ASMR’s, lol.
loved the show loved the relaxing music and the sound of him typing. brings back memories. I was like seven when the show was on and I watched it every week!
Barney, the guy in How I Met Your Mother, was the star of "Doogie Howser" (this show and theme) earliest in his career. so yeah, it was proper curation from the cast of how I met your mother on that one
i was watching "how i met your mother" season 3 episode 14 and laughed a lot when barney was typing at the end i showed to my wife this video to let her know why this was a laughter and a nostalgia both for me.
While the credits were rolling he added another statement to his blog. He said " But I've learned something very important today. I've learned that I'M AWESOME!"
my dentist looks like Doogie Howser - odd, we were just talking about him today - David and I are on the same wavelength - yeah, I'm here cuz of David Cook too - how sad are we - watching Doogie Howser vids just because DC posted it - Doogie was a great show though
What bothered me to this day is how cryptic those messages were. Did he expect to remember 20 years in the future what he meant by "it was a lot to go through all in one weekend" ?
Haha it's just like Barneys blog in HIMYM! lol it's got the same blue screen, and the camera following the white text as he types!! I only just realized lol
OMG! Thanks to David Cook I'm having flashback memories of MS-DOS and the classic blue screen/white fonts, LOL This proves once and for all that David Cook is the master and I'll follow orders....LMAOOOO!!!
Does David Cook even SORTA understand the power he wields? And I'm here watching ol' Doogie type because . . .??? Yeh, DC sent me. Oh dear. I AM glad to see that DC is taking some time to goof off -- GOOD! Relax and have some fun, David. You've more than earned a real break.
You know, I saw this show a lot when I was a kid but I could never remember the name of it until I looked up Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog on Wikipedia. When I went to NPH's page and saw Doogie Howser I thought to myself, "Why does this sound so familiar?" Next thing I know it leads me here and going, "Holy shit! It was THAT show!" Ha ha ha...I wonder if this is on Netflix?
This show seems kind of stupid at first glance but then you have endings like this and it just opens your eyes. Its like the 90s version of Modern Family
Was this the only journal music heard in the tv show? I seems to remember a few others from my childhood but I don't feel like watching the whole series to confirm it
Watching the entire series is actually worth it- as I did that myself almost a decade ago when I spent two weeks seeing every episode of all 4 seasons on DVD. I really loved this show and was very sad when I got to the very end of the final episode- which does actually give a proper conclusion even though it undoes what had always been going on.
@bukakee1 unfortunately no- this was more like a electronic diary/journal that he kept for his own records. It wasn't visible for others to see- well he showed Wanda when they decided to wait and not have sex in one ep- he said something like, I told Wanda those three little words today- "Let's not doit"
It would have sounded way better if he put tape on the back of the PCB, lubed the switches and stabilizers, and then put foam in the the bottom of the case.
