@@raghavsrivastava4280 I mean when it’s easier on nightmare it’s leagues easier on hurt me plenty and I’m to young young to die just master the doom dance
Controller isn't that bad. Weapon wheel is just all about memorizing where to move your stick and as for gameplay. Has a good aim assist for when you're aiming on demon's weak spots.
@@davidwood9718idk if your still interested but there’s a guy who talks about how to get better on controller I can’t remember his name but it had something to do with neuroscience
All these "iMagiNe pLaYing FPS gamEs witH a ConTRollEr" idiots have been real quiet in this comment section. It just goes to show what anyone with half a brain understands: It's not the tools, but the person who wields them. Absolutely insane!
@@thomasjohnston8970 I love how fluid the combat feels, and how beautiful the game is. It practically makes violence an art form. But I don't like how monotonous it is. Let's be honest here, shooting and moving is basically the only form of gameplay there is. If you're not shooting, you're moving a short distance to the location of the next shootout. That kind of gameplay loop can be very unengaging
@@Sam-ky1ei You say that like you can't have fun with your brain on. I understand that you like Doom, but that doesn't change the fact that it has an objectively lacking gameplay loop. That loop involves two things. TWO. Kill and walk. Most video games strive for a gameplay loop of at least four separate play types, so that should hopefully put it into perspective for you.
@@Sam-ky1ei Your response to my comment prove that you DO care that I don't like what you like. But on that note, I didn't say I didn't like it. I juts said I didn't know how to feel. In fact you've totally ignored the list of things I did like, so why don't you just go play your game until you're willing to have an actual conversation?
This guy really has really, really good gameplay. Fast response, excellent mechanism in dealing with enemies, and fast and agile movements in dealing with enemies. This man is truly a Pro Gamer.
...So, random comment here, but...am I the only one still wondering how the heck Valen gave the Doom Slayer his Hammer as a projection? Does Sentinel holographic/projection technology double as a teleporter, or is the Doom Slayer so awesome that he can somehow will projections to become solid?
@@el.pibedelrock I saw some barons and mancubus glory kills I've never seen before, or perhaps it was always there but I didn't notice them. And the prowlers as well, like the cutting the legs then kicking them away.
@@el.pibedelrock you can select how many milliseconds it takes to bring up the weapon wheel, basically quick switching between multiple weapons is pretty much possible now.
I was still practicing from his previous videos of his previous sensitivities. Now he raises all the way to a 100. Wooooboy. Back to the drawing board how SMvR does it. And that's calling out my reflexes.
Absolute master, love watching you play! Playing through this now on Nightmare and they've beefed up the encounters @ 3mins now spawns a pain elemental with the Cyber-Mancs and after those are cleared 2 Doom Hunters spawn before it advances - brutal when you're not bullying everyone like this lol
If you want to learn how to play Doom Eternal at its highest difficulties, without weapon swapping at Matrixesque speed, solid tactics instead of relying on the craziest reaction speeds, watch this guy's stuff. Not saying that any of the above is not entertaining, but it's always good to see a different playstyle for once.
@@Zoxxies Mayo does make strategy guides, and those are fine. Those cover a variety of specific situations. However, to truly learn, you need to see actual gameplay - wherein many factors and differentiate enemies are combined together, instead of the isolated situations covered in a strategy guide. In that respect, Mayo's gameplay very much involves ultra-fast swaps and equally ridiculously fast reactions. He also stated (I guess in one of his first UN playthroughs) that his playstyle is fairly chaotic, as he likes to experiment a lot on the fly. It's a quite radically different approach to the game as compared to SmVR.
@SmvR new tricks i see...(sensitivity) totally necessary w/ TaG 1 but especially TaG 2 am I wrong? I even messed with acceleration, and i *hate acceleration in any FPS... 🙏🏽🤯👀💯🔥 SmvR: "I've Come to Enlighten you to the Great Darknessss....I will Bathe in your Fear!"
@SmvR Hugo/ id Software listened... (console now has how many ms until the weapon wheel comes up in the settings) Ready the Armada, will use the old ways...
Wow. Impressive. The one thing I don't like are the rainbow color ammo and armor coming out of the demons once killed. It's so distracting. Nevertheless one the best walk-through I've seen of doom eternal. Well done. Damn.
