I like to imagine the reason the Switch Port took so long is because it took the team forever to find gameplay trailer clips that weren't completely showered in gore

@@Deadlyvoltage3 they have bayonetta, who in the second game literally flies in the air buck naked for a moment as her clothes get cut off before landing down, and is extremely sexualized.
The only problem with digital is that it will take up most of the switch’s storage. Like Doom 2016 is 21 GB at least. This is probably going to be bigger
@@zombielp666 I wish they could put in better frame pacing it would make the 30fps feel less sturttery wolfenstien 2 doom 2016 and a few other switch ports also suffer from the same problem
I love the fact that they cut every glory kill and ounce of demon blood from the trailer. It makes it so much funnier knowing what the game is actually like

I mean I think you can find one. It’s on Amazon. I’m not sure if it’s physical tho as I haven’t checked in a while. Just search doom eternal switch on Amazon and see what pops up.
to know that a smol tablet can run a good triple a game like doom eternal makes me happy i hope one day we will be advanced enough to go from 'it runs doom' to 'it runs doom eternal'
This just made me realize how amazing Game Pass is. I just said to myself while watching this trailer, "Huh, I wonder how it plays on Switch and the joycons Let's find out when...." And then it dawned on me I would have to pay for it. I would have to pay what is likely full price for this game to play it on Switch. That should be normal. That should be what is expected. Yet my brain instantly went, "Nope." That's kinda crazy to me how Game Pass has changed my entire mental framework on analyzing game purchases.
at 25 seconds the dynamic resolution drops to like 540p after the guy throws the chain flail. most of this trailer is sub 1080, but it keeps 30fps very well.
You can tell that this footage is legit because the texture filtering and resolution are pretty low, but this is amazing work regardless. Can't WAIT to see the digital foundry analysis!!!!!!!!
I will support Panic Button for making this port... games like this are so difficult to be adapted for NS, and these guys deserve a Nobel prize for doing so. Take my money! ;)
i wonder how the guy who i was arguing with a few weeks ago about if doom eternal could be on nintendo switch, he said "i doubt, nintendo switch isnt powerful enough for DOOM Eternal" he should feel stupid now
Yeah seriously... my friend has an older brother and literally he could play anything when his older brother is at work and I asked him if doom eternal was cross play and it said it wasn’t that sucks
@@Allstin actually switch has literally every doom game. 1, 2, 3, doom 64, 2016, and now eternal. It even has final doom in form of a downloadable mod for doom 1 and 2 on switch
So here we are December 8th, 2020..just came from gamestop a few minutes ago and they told me the physical game release got pushed back..any other doom fanatics pissed?
People are mad/sad that the physical release isn't coming. Like dude, get the rom of the game and put it in a custom cartridge, make the case for the game and there you go.
