I like how the angelic voice has this melancholic sadness in it, kinda sheds light on how despite everything that he does and will do, Doom Slayer is still a human at heart, and deep down he's genuinely hurting cause he lost his family and bunny, and then there's the demonic voice that is just seething with rage and hatred. I like this, it kinda humanizes the Doom Slayer.

"They told me I'd be king when Hell froze over So did anybody notice that the temp just dropped?" Favorite part.

Ok, how many people have heard this song an unhealthy amount of times.

I honestly feel like a rap fits better than a traditional song, considering doomguy's about speed and efficiency at causing as much pain as possible.

ASK absolutely killed it with this one. "The gates of Hell/embrace you welcome home," "Let your hatred swell/with rage unquelled, unbroken," and "The Bible tells such lies/the bells are tollin'" are some of the most epic verses I've ever heard and perfectly fit the unstoppable demon killer that is the Doomslayer.

How every Doom boss fight goes: Doomslayer: ... Bosses: Wait, why are we the ones hearing boss music?

The verse “and empty lies a grave, for he who never rests” is so underrated and fits well with the ending of the ancient gods 2

I like how JT's rap represents Doomguy's badass side while Andrea's part represents his tragic and dark side, fits the character of a depressed, unstoppable demon slayer pretty well.

Andrea might as well just be an official JT member by now.

The fact the demons are afraid of doom slayer says something. Dude Is so absurdly powerful and intimidating, even the demons of hell itself are afraid of him, which is the sole reason they attack him out of pure terror!

It's been two years, and this is still one of my favorite songs. The chorus is just too damn good.

Fun fact: Demons tell stories about the Doomslayer like we would about the boogeyman. He’s a literal storybook monster come to life for demons.

Demons : send an entire army to invade mars and earth. Doomguy : repells them and invades hell alone. Remaining demons : start praying.

This might be the best thing JT Music has ever produced. Tons of lines throughout that I just love to sing along with. Fucking Bars dude. Banger of a song. Everything hits.

The combination of voices gives the song a sort of clashing feeling. Andrea's voice sounds ethereal, like a quite singing about there religion. Then comes his voice, with hardcore music playing in the ground, like a hellzone, the complete opposite of the godly sound from before. Then the two themes take after each other. The ethereal voice gains a harder edge, as if the holiness is being perverted. Sin come, as all hell breaks lose, and faith fades. As the ethereal voice goes on, the voice seems to poise Doom Guy, as the center. Talking about how the bible lied, and allowed this to happen, showing a loss of faith. But the voice then places Doom Guy in the role. In a world were God has abandoned them, a man, seemingly invincible, as he single handedly, and impossibly, beats back the Demons. How could they not put faith in him? He has saved then so much, while God has seemingly abandoned them. In fact, the voice seems to blame God. "The Bible tells such lies, the bells are tollen, keeping Demons abound".

Me: (Playing DOOM: Eternal peacefully) Grandma: (walks in and watches me slaying demons like a boss) "Haha, die, sinners."

“Spare your faith, shed your halo” is an underrated line.

I love how the slayer in all the the battle mode clips is named daisyrabbit. nice touch.

When Doomslayer finds another weapon to torture the demons: Ahh! This will make a fine addition to my collection!

The madlads referenced Mick Gordon, coronavirus, the Marauder’s speech, the Dark Souls III Rap, Kahn Makyr saying it’s the people’s time to give penance, and even the music itself references the original at dooms gate and BFG division. That’s a lot.

This song got me into Doom. It hits so much harder now that I've played the games.

Okay, these guys deserve a music award, for almost every song they put out.

I hear three different angels, each of which gives me chills and the chorus (Andrea's voice) is honestly the best part, barring some enjoyable sections of the verse. *the First*; pure, innocent, kind, concerned, gentle and kindhearted. These are the traits this angel radiate, and despite this, one cannot deny that, yet, here she is, in hell. She speaks and acts as if she is still an angel, however it is not hard to see that something is amiss when she speaks with knowledge or in a manner that would imply she is not untouched to some degree. Is she under some illusion, perhaps constructed by her own mind in an attempt to cope? You know not whether it was mental corruption or having been shown a truth that shattered her beliefs enough to cause her mind to break, but the effects are clear. Even so, she nonetheless retains an incredible memory, in addition to an aptitude and propensity for prophecy and legend. Should the illusion of sorts she suffers from break however... One can only guess as to what might happen, although being somewhere else _if_ and _when_ said veil breaks is certainly preferable for oneself and their continued survival. *the Second*, pure in body but twisted in mind, in her voice you can hear a portion of both the malice and ego she's gained, along with her barely disguised and subversive intent toward you and anyone else not touched by hellish corruption of kind. She is no doubt well aware of how much she has changed, but seems to not care, or perhaps even enjoy herself as she delivers hellish truth to those blinded by dogma of heavenly scripture and teachings or otherwise bring more souls into hell's domain, be it for one reason or another. A sane soul would not linger unnecessarily in her presence, lest they potentially be at some risk of being twisted as well. *the Third* has fallen from grace, that much is quite evident with her corrupted form and tainted voice, despite both clearly retaining some of her previous self, having become a unique amalgam of both. She has likely seen and been through it all, appearing exhausted not only in mind, but body and spirit as well. It is not likely she turned quickly or easily, nor lived without tough decisions or regrets. Despite such, she has nonetheless accepted with what she has become and of her new residence, even if she does not partake in the violence and atrocity that others now freely indulge in, nor does she attempt to corrupt others. Although quite blatantly depressed, she does seem to take a little joy in some of her more humane duties in spite of such predicament, not to mention happy as a result of your presence, likely as a result of you planning to remove more demons from existence like she would have before her fall or just a new roommate that isn't a mindless murder freak.

Andrea’s voice is what makes this a masterpiece her singing voice is amazing

You know, now with the context of the Dark Lord being the original father, the line of "You know what he really did, he created Hell" really makes more sense

The difference between JT and other videogame rappers is that JT's is so aggressive and most of the time coincides with the game's plot. Others just sing about the game. In his raps he sings in the protagonist's perspective.

Hearing Skulls and Andrea's in harmony at the chorus was absolutely beautiful

Doom Marine then: "Fight like Hell!" Doom Marine now: "The only thing they fear... Is YOU!" The Doom Marine has truly evolved since we first met him. And as others have pointed out, the voices of Skull and Andrea do show the humanization of Doom Marine. He causes such pain for Hell and the demons there, but he's still human. He's still flesh.

The doomslayer is RIDICULOUS. The fact that a human became what is, essentially, a chaos marine demigod, is Incredible
