@An idiot With an opinion Davoth corrupted the very people he was meant to watch over and used them for his own reasons. He went and killed other gods for their strength. Davoth made a deal the Khan Makyr to use sentinels as slaves and an energy source. The slayer didn’t get his own people killed on purpose. They essentially got sent on a suicide mission to hell and got betrayed and got stuck there. The makyr was going to use humanity as a resource so they don’t go t height transfiguration so of course he was going to stop her regardless of her reasons for it. When did the slayer kill his own father?
@An idiot With an opinion the Doom Slayer destroyed the father's life sphere I believe for two reasons. 1. the Seraphim was entering the transfiguration process and he wasn't going to chance another Angel pulling something like the Khan Maykr 2. if the Father was to return to a physical form then the Doom Slayer would not have a chance to finally put an end to the invasions from Hell that destroyed most of humanity and the Sentinel home world. The demons of Hell would not be able to exist outside their realm should the Dark Lord be killed, and the Father most likely foresaw what the Doom Slayer would do and decided that was best course action to take, losing his physical form as a sort penance for all he had done to Davoth and his people while also not having to be personally kill him to protect the rest of creation.

I honestly dont know the motivation for breaking the Father's sphere and why slayer didnt nip the Hell invasion at the bud, but those arent expanded on much (yet) so it's not a good idea to jump to conclusions yet. Anyways, demons are abominations and deserve to be killed. They're literally demons. Slayer brought armageddon to Urdak because it was being controlled by corrupted, evil angels who used demons to invade Earth. Also, he didnt kill the Seraphim, he just beat him up, although REALLY badly. This was justified because the Seraphim was in his way and was becoming too arrogant. He could have easily killed him then if he wanted to like with the hell priests, but he doesnt. And the thing with Davoth was that he valued his people more than God basically. So of course he gets punished.

The life sphere was destroyed because the slayer knew if the Father was brought back into physical form, the Father would prevent doom slayer from killing Davoth, the lord of evil. Samuel Hayden was under going transfiguration and getting corrupted because as a divine being, he needs to be around the father's presence otherwise he'll get fucked up mutated. More so it seems Samuel was power hungry and kinda talked down on Doom Slayer. "Your debt is owed to us, repay us from the power we gave you" that type of shit

that would probably be the worst possible sentence he say to the doomslayer because if anyone in all creation could know how he felt its doomslayer. infact i love if he regains his abilty to speak one last time just to chew out the dark lord for being a total hypocrite he said he loved his people and felt betrayed and became consumed with hate while he took controll of and tormented his people while doomslayer walked alone to defend them. while he made others inact his vengance the doomslayer did it himself merely allowing those who wished too to help him while dark lord fell to hate and took it out on all creation the doomslayer made sure only those who earned his hate would suffer it. in the end the doomslayer was a reflection of the dark lord if he had tooken a more selfless path of rage and hate its a comparison of unjust revenge and just revenge

To be fair, the Spider Mastermind is one of the most powerful Demon gods that had the power to be resurrected via sacrifice, hence why it can return in the 2016 game even after Doomguy killed it in the 1st game.

I feel like the seraphim took cells from the dark lords dead body and put it into someone on earth so it can be raised and then have it later become doomguy and doomguys traits hes inherited from the dark lord is an iron will and rage but without powers however. This iron will allowed doomguy to fight and never die through the games and when doomguy showed up on the sentinel world the seraphim knew who he was the moment he set foot in their world and the divinity machine didnt kill doomguy because since the machine gives the user the dark lords abilities it would make sense that since doomguy is biologically the same as the dark lord that he would survive receiving those powers and thus the seraphim created an exact equal or maybe a being stronger dark lord. Also the seraphim said "where would all this be now if i had not had the foresight to create you" which if you read it in a certain way it sure sounds like doomguy was made by the seraphim
Midnight, since Urdak was created when the Father sat down, what about all the other trippy dimensions that were created when the Father first moved through the void? I believe this is what will allow for the Wraiths and for other divine beings to come into play. Any thoughts?
I love how Doom has the ultimate fan service, interesting as hell lore, have the best gameplay I've ever seen and played, and last and most definitely not least they have the best enemy types in the gaming universe I was and still an happy as HELL that I got this game and even the DLC I loved it and thank you Midnight for telling me the Doom lore
Well 1 and 2 it was generally assumed and I think was confirmed that they did in fact do experiments on demons. Though I don't know where the spider mastermind would fit into that

HERE IS MY PREDICTION: 1) Davoth and the Doom Slayer will initially fight each other. 2) Both will realize they are equal and strike a deal. 3) Davoth will convince the Doom Slayer that The Father is the real evil being in this story and team up together to kill The Father provided Davoth leaves the humans/Earth alone once the mission is over. 4) Rip & Tear until it is done.
But the father no longer has a body, which lore wise makes no sense i mean hes the father creator of all things and ur telling me he needs a orb to return to the physical plain, or thats what he wants us to think.

The games lore make Sure in doom 2016 and shortly eternal, that all cybernetics for the demons Are Build in hell, but the Parts came from earths UAC. A Part in the game takes Place in that building facility. So IT is not a pure hell Creation, dont forget the Part with the the seraphin and mayker wich are involvet in the Support for Hells armys and cyber Upgrades for the demons. I found something interesting. I played the main story again and the mysterious voice that you hear after killing the khan makyr now says Dark Lord in the subtitles.
I couldn't help noticing how another yellow life sphere rises from the Khan Maykr after killing her... Any reference to the spheres on the Ingmore Sanctum maybe?
@@darkangel2752 interesting, since the Dark Lord has the red sphere in the DLC. The Khan Maykr emits a yellow sphere similar to The Father's sphere on Urdak.

I actually really like this story line. They have taken something biblical and made a cool story and interpretation without being disrespectful. Even if they were, who cares because it's just a video game, but the game's story is it's greatest point. I just wish TDM was back
I would love to see the human's point of view in this game and go through a campaign similar to halo wars or a full on single player experience as a human going through earth defending territories and gathering resources helping them all to be in one place finding hayden before he is transformed back into his original samur makyr form. Mechs, Ships, space guns weapons all sorts of stuff maybe even ascend yourself in a offshoot of the universe that isn't lore
The father should give the people of Jakarta possibly three more qualities for example the third quality is morality (knowing from right to wrong), the fourth quality is compassion to all living things and to each other also the fifth quality is wisdom. This would very likely make hell not a terrible place in doom slayer universe.
this kind of reminds me of the biblical version of Satan. God created the universe, along with Heaven and Earth, then he created the Angels (probably not in that order). God created Lucifer as one of the first of the angels, Lucifer was an angel among angels. He was an incredible gift to Heaven, God made Lucifer that angel of music. For which Lucifer played the roll magnificently as he created music for God. Eventually, Lucifer noticed that he was beloved by God and had a special place in God's "heart". Lucifer was also beloved by the other angels who praised Lucifer on his beauty and musical affinity. Lucifer began to think of himself as an angel among angels, he even began to look to the throne of God as a thing he could obtain. Lucifer was incredibly prideful and ambitious, and God found out about it, so cast Lucifer out of Heaven. The thing about this story that gets me is that he didn't just cast out Lucifer, he cast out Lucifer's followers as well. The bible says that a 3rd of the angels of Heaven choose Lucifer over God. Lucifer was praised and loved, so much so that a great deal of angels refused to be parted from him. God then created Hell, a spiritual plane of existence on Earth where Lucifer and his angels where sent to. Lucifer became twisted with malice, as a result, the angels that served him became twisted as well. The description of an angel is in the bible, and they are terrifying, but Satan isn't described that way. The description of Satan is one of beauty, Satan's appearance wasn't twisted, but his own mind was. Where as the angels that served him became twisted forms of evil that possessed and tormented humans. In a lot of ways, I can see the similarities of the biblical story and the Doom story. It's from a position of tragic loss and incredible furry.

Did you play Doom 2016? In that game, the UAC personnel say that they found Hell by accident while researching teleportation. That's where we first meet Samuel Hayden. He tells us in this game that this was all a lie. He was looking for a way into Hell so that he could find the sarcophagus of the slayer (Davoth). He misled the humans into thinking it was just a scientific expedition.That's more than enough reason for the Slayer to distrust him. It all ties together. I made a connection in one of your videos from about a week ago (the 23rd).

So... the people of jekkad morphed into hellish creatures and started to consume other plantes and dimensions... the thing i question myself is why did some people morph into imps and some into tyrant... why didnt they all morhp into tyrant, baron of hell etc.

It’s only a theory, but I think it’s possible the Dark Lord will be a playable character. Maybe than kill demons, we need to kill sentinels and human. It’s only a fantasy, but it looks cool to imagine it.
"No care for restraint". That does not sound like a quality. You got to have quite the innocent/naive or stupid view to make the leap from noticing that "some people will restrain their own potential" to "restraint is bad". Restraining your own capability and potential is usually bad, but having no restraint is giving a timer to end up seeing any extremes as an acceptable way. By combining that trait with an endless thirst for knowledge, the Father essentially created a people with no sense of self-control which were bound to one day descend into hellish depravity. So much for being able to see the future...
No, it doesn't. The Father is surprising flawed... I think that He might be a creation of the real Creator themselves, since He is flawed and only exists to create, like that's his designed function. And the People of Jekkad would've been 10K times more horrifying had they been immortal from the start, imo. Nothing good would result from it. Perhaps this paradise would've eventually trned into a *worse* kind of Hell. And on top of it all, the Primeval God Davoth was just doing what he was created to do -- to protect and care for his realm and people -- and that objective turned into an insane obsession, and that obsession condemned everything to a fate worse than purposeful mortality: eternal suffering. Tragic to say the least. And pretty much also The Father's fault, because He could have foreseen this and prevented this from occuring somehow, by giving his first mortal creations care for restraint. But strangely it seems that not all of Jekkad's people agreed with discovering the knowledge of immortality, or agreed with the means their peers meant to discover it, as some resisted Davoth's authority and were punished for doing so. Not killed, punished. Severely. Probably horrifically. Whatever extremes were happening at that point had to be so terrifying, even for some of Jekkad's people, that more than one person resisted protocol and were perhaps very disgusted by it. Which leads for me to conclude that this beyond-ancient, long-lived mortal race all had varied opinions and ideas -- not every man, woman and child was "the same", basically. I don't know though, all of this is just speculation. Thanks for reading all of it anyway. Who knew that DOOM would get so deep (but that's just my opinion). lol xD
Unpopular opinion but I actually like the decision that God is depicted as a merciful being rather than a tyrannical deity. It seems Doom is going the Spawn route while still keeping God as "good".

Hell will live on even with Davoth's Hell Realm Jekkad will be up for grabs by the other Hell Lord's and another will take the mantle of Dark Lord since Davoth is now gone leaving a massive pool of power up for grabs so many Hell Lords will fight for a piece of Jekkad. This also left the Maykrs now weaken after Doom Slayer killed the Khan and left Samur critically injured leaving The Father defenseless so could also imply Hell will make a move to extend there power even further outside of the Hell Dimension.
okay okay, so idk if this is a theory or not, or if it’s even possible, but could Doomguy be the primeval that is here to protect this dimension? he has the qualities. he cares deeply for his people, and he has god like abilities. not to mention, thanks to the new dlc we know he looks just like the primeval that was created to look over jicad (idk how to spell it). just an idea, please let me know if this is already theorized or if it is even possible given the current lore.
All of Doom Slayer's weapons are either divine, like the Maykr weapon, or powered with argent energy and fires argent projectiles and its been stated that only divine or argent energy can harm demons. Therefore, when you kill a demon, their blood, bone and organs ARE the ammo that comes out. Thank you for coming to my TEDTALK
This only means 2 things. When the doom slayer slays satan he will be granted immortality. Only to destroy every demon left all the universes then strip the slayer of his immortality whatcha will piss the doom slayer off then history will repeat itself. Damn I’m lost can’t continue
