Doom II Final Level 

I played this level about 27 years ago and I remembered the lighting was so much darker and 5 minutes in my pc couldn't handle it and it would freeze up so cool to actually see this today 😀

This level was stupidly difficult even on the lowest difficulty.

Fuck this level the demon fuck never dies for me

Couldn't finish this with god mode enabled. All this racket with the respawning enemies and being pushed off of that small platform. I was like, f*ck this, I'm done.

As a kid I could never beat this and even now still can't...lol The games today aren't nearly as hard as what they were when we were kids. I can remember to this day how god damn frustrated and angry I got playing and dying all the time. This shit was a nightmare. Brings back so many memories.

I always let the demons appears in huge amounts :D so some of them starts killing eachother heheh

Currently playing Doom 4 now ! Its like taking candy from a baby compared to this. Real good gameplay bro. I remember playing this with cheats only

I got stuck here as a little kid - didn't know what to do.

Playing this with a 486 100mhz without any sound card on the pc speaker was even more demoniac

Weird, I thought this was the level I remember where you can clip through the wall and destroy some stick with a face on it. I guess your way of shooting the face works as well though

To be honest the icon of sin is really easy... as long as he doesn't spawn a damn archvile then your good.

has anyone noticed that in the switch that activates the platfrom ther is a skull but the sorrounding electronics is made of people who are tortured and theyre brains conected to wires

guessing that was the longest three minutes of OP's life

i remember playing this final level , i was 16 years old, couldnt finish it until about 12 times, when i realized you have to shoot the head, but yeah it was insanely hard to fight it, and all the enemies at the same time

The boss in the final level says: To beat the game you must defeat me John Romero or something like that.

I think the reason that this level is hard its beacuse you need rigth timing to shot the rocket while a bunch of demon attacking you from behind

Never understood the kill counter at the end of this level. The icon continues to spawn in new ones until you kill it, so you’d never really finish at 100%

Well answered my own question takes 3 hits but they gotta be precisely on the red center

Doom 1 and 2 was just a gang up at the end

I could never get the rockets to line up with the brain hole

do you have to be on the platform when you shoot it? I fired like 100 rockets at it from a distance and it didnt die
