Just a shame, as far as base Ultimate Doom is concerned, it was only used for the first level, personally, I feel it could have been used for the last level of Inferno or Thy Flesh Consumed in the final battle against the Spider Mastermind (though it would feel a bit hollow were it Inferno since that battle is easy if you get your BFG shots just right).
Takes a moment to understand that your character survived the entire slaughter and invasion because he was sleeping in the broom closet. EDIT: Story was, sadly, unofficial. He was the last marine to enter the base hence why he's the only man alive there.

After e1m1 being so short, I didn't know how this would play on a long map. But it actually fits Odyssey of Noises (map29 Plutonia) really well despite it being such a big map.
while i hatre to say i just skipped the archvile maze cuz there was no way in heck I'm battling that many archviles at 30% hp no armor and a super shotgun

played this game ffor the first time in my life a few weeks ago(1993 version on steam). Unbelievable how this game stood the test of time. The graphics look kinda old, but the details are awesome. Looks better then half life 1 in my opinion. So fluid controls and precise too. even in 2022 a fun game to start out with.

I play this over my head set as I'm playing red dead redemption 2 and some try hards wanna shoot me and my possie I'll crank this over the head set and go after them 7 level 100 pluses chasing u down they all flee in terror
I hate that it took a source code leak for me (and many others) to realize this is Master of Puppets and not No Remorse. Right riff, wrong song. Also, cool to know Bobby Prince openly lied about it for like 15 years, lol. Not that anyone REALLY believed him, but it's funny he was like "yeah, all of the songs are ripped-off of popular metal songs at the time... They shouls be prasing quake for at least 8 of their games were made on a modified quake engine. Also i like to say wolfenstien and doom creayed fps quake perfected it.
If you know where to go yeah when i first played it i was kissing ass looking for keycards and buttons that opened doors on the other side of the map lol
