very epic video, but this is a good example of what in my opinion is wrong with doomfist as a character. this has absolutely NOTHING to do with you specifically, you are just playing the character the way hes supposed to be played and you are playing him well. My main issue with current doom is he is so reliant on empowered punch to get the bulk of his value, its just so sad how in ow1 doomfist had all these different playstyles and cool techs that were actually super useful, and current day doom is just empowered punch bot, techs arent useful anymore outside of the extremely basic ones. Granted dps doomfist was easily the worst character in the game for the last 3 years of ow1 and current doom is actually pretty decent, but its just really sad imo how his best playstyle is farming emp punch

I don’t think this is entirely true, when you play doom like a true dive character and not front line, he is actually a great dive character without empowered punch. It’s just that teams in low ranks lose if you play dive doom since they don’t know how to play without a frontline tank

I almost completely agree with u @pastromer8552 tank doom can still do juicy stuff with diags but that’s about it other than stair slam. Whilst I do like tank doom and his movement, he just doesn’t compare to the flow and techs of dps doom and how well it fit with his playstyle, abilities, a unique skill ceiling, and how he’s inspired by fighting game characters with his combos like “DOWNWARDS DIAG INTO BOUNCE INTO 125 SLAM UPPERCUT COMBO” and then tank doom is just “…punch” doom really lost his character I feel. I’ll always love doom and I’m glad he’s actually good, but he’s just not DOOMFIST y’know? Im YAPPING rn, im just too passionate about this character 😅 but still a w vid regardless
