Thanks for your time showing us how to replace that. I think it would have been interesting to show us how you verified that it is bad and needs to be replaced, as in many cases cleaning it with DW40 and the applying cilicone grease would solve most of the door actuator problems. Thanks any way.

as i was changing my lock anyway i thought i would have a tinker with the none responsive lock, i found if leant over to the passenger door and pulled the interior handle and began to toggle the interior lock button on the dash. Somehow i heard a mechanical click and i felt it through the handle too. Well what do you know, the door opens and closes as it should. it doesn't respond through the remote or dash button but did lock on the door button and released to open from the handle. I've changed my lock and all is good now. I thought this tactic might work for someone else whilst they wait for their new lock mechanism to arrive.
