In this video I will be reviewing DoorDash's subscription service, DashPass. For $9.99 per month, you can subscribe to DoorDash's DashPass and get $0 delivery fee and reduced service fees on orders over $12 or $25 (depending on the store/restaurant) from any restaurant with the DashPass checkmark.

Shouldn’t have to pay service fees if paying for dash pass. Too expensive. A McDonald meal with dessert almost $30 in my area ridiculous

Doordash pays a face of $2.50 per each delivery for the delivery drivers that is what the service fee goes to if you didn't pay a service fee then the door Dasher would make no money

Door dash is a disgustingly sketch app in terms of ripping you off. I would bet money that the service fee for non members would be lower, and are only raised in the dash pass to make the discount look heftier. They do shit like this all the time. Little tactics to make you pay more and think you’re saving.

Basically u saved 9 dollars for 3 orders because 18-9 = 9. Dashpass worths it if you are going to order once a week

If you use the annual dashpass, its gonna immediately charge you $100. You may get a refund within 30 days of your first eligible dashpass order.

It’s actually 96 dollars for a year which yea that’s definitely cheaper then paying 10 a month. If u have the money to get it for a year then definitely get it. I do and order 3-5 times a month and have saved over 300 dollars.

It always amazes me how I often I find people on youtube who have video, audio and reach and still dont grasp how people search info enough to get to the point. People land on searches looking for fast answers, not to relax and settle into someone elses rambling reflections.

You can’t monetize videos under a certain length and even if you could RU-vids algorithm doesn’t really push those videos. I get where you’re coming from, but it doesn’t make much sense logistically from the content creators perspective. I generally look for text information if I want an answer quickly.

All those extra costs are baked into the price of meals. One simple meal at McDonald's is INSANELY expensive through any delivery app. Twice as expensive as just going to there in person. No wonder everyone in our nation is broke, on the back of laziness.

Watching this video cause i got charged on my bank account of $96 dashpass and i dont even know what this is besides doordash, i use to be a dasher and dont even know what this is, i got a refund and got my random ass subscription cancelled luckily! Lol

But did you really saved $4.17 when you had to add the donut to get lowered fees and the monthly subscription? You would've payed $19.43 with the delivery fee and service fee without adding the donut and the subscription.

Exactly. It's not saving if you have to add something you weren't going to order. It's like people who use coupons on stuff they wouldn't ever bought without the coupon. They didn't really save because the coupon encouraged them to make a purchase they would have never made in the first place. This is sales manipulation at its finest. LOL

It is saving u money tho. Your getting more for for less. That’s saving something. If u order at least 3-4 times a month u actually save quite a bit of money. I do the annual pass which is 96 dollars for a year (cheaper then doing it every month) and I order 3-5 times a month and have saved over 300 dollars in a year. It’s worth it.

@@davidstratton696 That's different if you were going to buy anyway. Yes, it's saving you money in that case. I'm talking about people who make impulse purchases on stuff they weren't going to buy if they hadn't seen the coupon. For example suddenly buying some random ice cream because it's 2 for $4 when you wouldn't have bought at all had there not been a coupon. That's how they make most of their money. So you're spending more than you would have just to use the coupon. That's different if you using coupons for stuff you buy regularly.

U can pay 10 a month or 96 for a year (which is cheaper). And u save way more then just 2 dollars. If u order at least 3-4 times a month then u save quite a bit of money. money. I pay the 96 a year and order 3-5 times a month and have saved over 300 dollars. It’s definitely worth it.
