I agree - way better than Susan Lucci. Everyone made such a big deal that she went for eons without winning an award but honestly, she wasn't as good as Erika S. I wasn't fond of the way Lucci portrayed Erica. She was too campy or over the top.
One of my favorites. I’m so glad I caught this period of daytime . OLTL was always a favorite, but this felt so well done . Applause to Micheal Malone, Erika Sleazak, Susan Horgan & their teams . TOTAL EXCELLENCE 28 years ago & beyond !

Great Find!! I remember this episode like it was yesterday!! I am so gonna miss OLTL. It pains me that it's leaving the air!! I've watched this show since I can remember watching TV, 38 years of great memories of OLTL. May ABC dive so bad in the ratings that it can never recover!!
When Tori was calling out the other alternates, is it just me or did it seem like they meant to say Jean, Princess, Tommy even Nicki were cowards, but she said Jean, Princess, Tommy even Tommy they were cowards 12:48ish
Its Juanderful no she meant what she said. She was emphasizing how even Tommy with all of his rage and wanting to protect Viki, couldn't do what she did when it came down to it.
Berry Haddox because Nikki only cared about herself and having her own life and would have gladly have let Vicki be dead and buried. She was an evil vindictive alter and cruel and outright vicious.
@@helixjc Actually, Nikki was just a carefree party girl. It was only when Rae Cummings unleashed her did the alter become extremely dangerous when she tried to kill Ben.
Does anyone have what happened next after Viki left the office?? Did she go to the police station and confess everything? How does Dorian find out it was Viki that killed Victor?
In the original script, there was no question that Dorian killed Victor. But not the way they rewrote it. No one put a pillow over his face. From what I understand, Dorian and Victor had a wicked fight and he had another stroke. Dorian withheld his medicine and took her time calling the ambulance. So technically, no one ever could have proved any of that. I also recall reading that in the original Victor died with a doctor in the room. It's too bad none of 1976 footage is still available because it would have made all of these rewrites look silly.
@@travisjames3517 Earlier today I was watching footage of Dorian and Asa and thought what a supercouple those two could have been. They could have done the same with Dorian and Victor. He was only about 49 or 50 in 1976 and Dorian was about 30. They both were bad-to-the-bone and I could have seen her running his businesses while he was sick and making them even more money. The older billionaire and his smart younger doctor wife? Definitely a missed opportunity there.
@@fwdthinker Good idea, but there’s no way they could stand each other enough to be in a relationship. The only time they ever really handed together was when Tina was taking over Llanfair in 1986.
