As a young man in the nineties, Believing you could achieve this type of physic on just supplements is dangerous. It forced many people to abuse dangerous supplements. Thus ruining many livers and kidneys.
I love his honesty, and his general mindset about bodybuilding and health. If you are a recreational bodybuilder, he is one of the best mentors BECAUSE he used them, was Mr. Olympia, and will tell you not to use them unless it's for the right reasons. He took them, because he was in the business of being a competitive bodybuilder as a living, and he wanted to be the best in the sport. He couldn't do it without them, like any pro, so he took them. As soon as he retired, he went off of them. Because he didn't have some sort of 'little man' complex. They were no longer necessary for his goals, because he was no longer competing as a living. Which is why he always suggests that unless it's going to be your living, you shouldn't get wrapped up in them. There's no point to it.
@@TravisTellsTruths i have been using steroid for 10 years, i can easily tell you those dosages he says he take here wont change a thing. it doesnt matter how good his genetics, training program or diett is. its fucking impossible to get to that size with doses thats same as a standart trt dose. your being stupid. really. this dude took massive amounts of dbol, grams of deca and test
@@TravisTellsTruths i do. been taking steroid for 10 years, i totally know how it works and how effective dbol deca, test , anadrol and all the drugs he used , how effective they are. 100 mg primo LMAO. it wont do shiit even if u ronnie coleman
As soon as a lot of people see steroid gut, they just dismiss you as someone to admire. I'm sorry, but that's just the truth. That gut ruins everything and it's the first thing the eye looks for when people know the aesthetic that came before it. He is one of the greats but there's no reason to destroy the true beauty of the sport, and that is what steroids did.
To be a professional champion bodybuilder you need to take steroids no matter what no matter what Because nobody’s fucking super huge and super muscular and super strong and super fast naturally.
I think that's why they were better, with time gh and insulin worse the Body, not improve it. That's why 90's body builders where better conditioned and have better separations.
I believed that this treatment method will require effect after a long period of time. I used this erection dysfunction treatment *4NaturalEdCure. Com* utilized it at around 3pm. At 9pm, my spouse returned to our house right after her duty at a school function. In those days, I uncovered that the treatment solution was effective. It has been since years since I achieved this quite strong erection. Is this a coincidence?
I don't think that's necessarily true ever heard of Lou Ferrigno he was the og mass monster, this is why he played hulk, I think he was the first and I would believe he used less gear because the heavier compounds like hgh and insulin weren't available or wide spread, he just didn't win Mr Olympia but was Mr universe.
I appreciate his honesty. A lot of bodybuilders want to run around today saying that they’re natural when we know damn well they’re not. Dorian keeps it real.
Nice to hear an honest perspective without judgement. No scare tactics or warnings. He doesn't condemn and he doesn't glorify steroid use. It just is what it is.
What he should just say? Train to failure and eat 6 times a day? The true is that bodybuilders only speak about training and nutrition and nothing else, when steroids are more than half the equation.
I assume that for every positive effect there are lots of negatives that you never hear about. And for every guy or girl who are famous, like Yates, Arnold etc. there are 100 or 1000 who ruined their lives doing steroids and other drugs.
Appreciate the honesty. I've been training naturally for 34 years..because I just enjoy lifting and shaping. When I was younger I actually thought I wasn't making huge gains because I wasn't trying hard enough or not eating enough..lol. But glad I never used steroids...then again..I never wanted to compete.
@@billybobs1705 your right that they are not obligated to confess they use, they can do whatever they want, but liying is different, telling your audience that you are natural when you are clearly using steroids and other things is not good. People also should do some fcking reasearch and not blindly believe everything. sorry for the english.
It's anger inducing how the fitness industry for decades lies about PED usage. It's so rare to have guys like Dorian just tell the TRUTH. And you know what? It doesn't make him any less of a legend! The sad part is millions of young men get sucked into bodybuilding and often damage their bodies, thinking they can achieve insane physiques just naturally.
@@HeadPack 30's hormones were for therapeutic purposes. In 50's they have started to abuse in eastern block. And in 60's and 70's they used it in bodybuilding to keep their gains. But we're talking about PED dependency to build the gains, and base the whole build on it. This teasing acts and ugly bodies just started from mid 80's. ✌
There would be no professional bodybuilding without steroids. Every Mr Olympia winner from Larry Scott in 1965 was enhanced. It was Joe Weider's business model from day 1.
He is so honest and don't give a damn about what other bodybuilders are saying to ppl and without naming them i feel disgusted when they start to give bullshit speeches about ( i only workout hard and eat ) u can't be super muscled without steroids and u know when someone is natural or not so at least be honest about it
Yeah he got lucky with good genetics, his training was rubbish, most lazy bodybuilder ever I can't believe he won so many times because of good genetics.
@@tamachanusko His training was rubbish and he was the most lazy body builder? Haha where do you people even come from There are stories/videos in which pros go to train with him and end up vomiting after the session
His honesty is appreciated, I personally don't think that there's anything wrong with steroids. I don't think it's considered "cheating" to build your body the best that it can be.
There is two type of people those who think absurd inhuman gains without steroids are possible and those that believe that if you gain 4 pounds of muscle you're definitely on Juice.
Boxing is one of the sports where athletes use a lot of tricks to be on the top of their game. And yes that includes use of PEDS and steroids. I hate it when they do that.
@bdegrds exactly...federations support peds because without them , we would witness one new world record every 20 years or so , since the current ones are all achieved with peds
Just curious on what everyone thinks about Dorian response on why he uses steroids? 00:11 If the majority of your competitors are using steroids to gain an advantage would you use them too? Even if the rules clearly state you should not? Tim Grover who was Michael Jordan's coach for 15 years stated in his book Relentless “Cleaners are rule-breakers when they have to be; they only care about the end result." I think most people would agree with Dorian and Tim. In business I am having trouble accepting this into my ethics because a rule is a rule and there are consequences when someone breaks them of course only if caught. But when the business takes a big hit and all your options are running out do you break the rules or do you continue to look for other alternatives? Dorian mentioned "This is part of the game right and if you're going to compete without steroids you're going to be at a great disadvantage not impossible maybe if you're genetically much more gifted than the other guys." In Dorian's case he was all out of options and concluded that you either take the steroids or you end up at a great disadvantage. Unless genetically gifted. My question with this here is would you take the steroids, continue to try to find other ways that are not rule breaking to compete, or find other industries to play in and hope there are not any rule breakers. Would you guys think that breaking the rules is acceptable if the majority of the competition is doing it? What about if only a handful of competitors are doing it? What about if a few people are doing it and in result dominating the market place and making it much difficult for rule abiding players to compete? What about if only one competitor is doing it and in result dominating the market place and making it much difficult for rule abiding players to compete? Not to mention there are many levels of rule breaking some more harder core than others. How far would you push it? These are some of the questions I am beginning to ask myself as I get deeper into the world of business. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. P.S. I think Sammy the Bull interview is coming out tomorrow because it is a Friday!
You must be new to bodybuilding lol.... All competitors at the IFBB without a doubt are using some sort of PED. There are no rules in the IFBB that ban use of PEDS. It's a no holds barred contest basically. There are specific Natural bodybuilding federations that enforce diuretics tests and urine tests for anabolics. That's why. It's not cheating when there's no rules. why wouldn't you take steroids when everyone else is who is to be competitive in your sport. that's why. to succeed.
I think its up to your circumstances at the time. I used to bodybuild until i had a car accident and got hit by an 18 tonne lorry which screwed my back up. I was toying with using steroids before this happend as i felt like i wasn't gaining anymore and had reached my plateau. I did my research on them with the intention of doing them. Then i met my wife and stepson and i put this behind me for a while. In that time my wife got pregnant and was also diagnosed with multiple sclerosis which is a slow deteriorating disease. With this i weighed up the potential consequences and came to the conclusion that i hadn't ever planned on competing, i now had 2 children and a wife that was going to be deteriorating slowly through her life. I realised then that for me to do them, just to look good and potentially die early and leave my children fatherless with their mother who will need my help more and more as her life goes on would be selfish of me. This stopped me from doing them. Before the wife and kids i would have done them just for myself to look good as like i said i never planned on competing. What i think it boils down to is risk. Hiw much risk do you want to take to get the gains you want, either monetary gains in business or muscle and trophy gains in steroids. The difference is, in business if you take a risk you lose money, in bodybuilding and steroids, taking that risk can shorten your life. Is it worth it? If you win the show and get sponsors and money then you could say its worth it to some, but to me no amount of money is worth shortening my life for. Thats my take on it. To be honest im pro steroids, i believe you create your own path in life and should be allowed to put in your body whatever you want as its your body, your choice. If you want to smoke weed, do cocaine, drink til the room spins or do steroids, thats your choice and noone should be able to tell you not to, as long as you understand the risk your taking its on you if you think its worth taking that risk. Peace
@@michaelmodaffari3624 your right. After doing some research I found that the IFBB is not strict on steroid users. In that case my question above would be geared more towards business in general or as an example professional baseball. I do see your point that you made though. If everyone is doing it of course it would be a no brainier to do it as well. To succeed.
@@vinnyvtec8722 I love your perspective on this. What you have to lose for the risk we are taking. Sometimes it is not worth sacrificing what you have for what you want especially when it comes to time being spent with loved ones that need us.
@@ethgod The top pros always have access to real stuff. But you're right to some degree. I buy Omnadren straight from the pharmacy shop because it's legal here, yet am not sure that even that is 100% real
@@MrTech153 like 500-600 is the norm now, for the first cycle it's even less than that, I sure do hope no one is doing more than a 1000mg that's a dumb thing to do.
Much respect for admitting it but not too much respect for using them. I know if everyone is cheating then its an even field but still, none of them are legit. So no one should feel bad for not being able to get that big. Stay clean and know you achieved what ever you have due to intense hard work not roids. Its empowering and creates true confidence not the illusion of confidence.
I don't really feel being this open helps the current situation.A stupid young guy now might say "oh ok i'm gonna take 20ml dianabol and the rest and be gucci..look dorian he is fine today i can do it too".The approach should be DON'T TAKE STEROIDS i did cause i was a pro bodybuilder but i don't suggest anyone to take it.
Hmmm. He stated in another video that he only used steroids in that first year when he started the mass era, he said he just didn't lose as much weight in the diet. He then said he tried growth and didn't get much out of it, and then said he tried growth/insulin but it wasn't quality gains. Not sure why he doesn't want to admit the whole truth.
Steroids will make you huge, but he didn't take more than he says, maybe just a little more, but if you take crazy amounts of aas, you don't achieve more results, you just take more sides. The only thing different about it is the growth hormone, and he changed his facial threats in proportion to the doses he says.
One important data, he won his first show against guys who used steroids, while he was still natural. To be an elite bodybuilder you definitely need the genetics to be that good, you don't take substances and become Mr O, but we have seen guys that outenhance their weaknesses with substances, and they look like badly put together action figures, with bad shape and insertions that should not be winning shows out of conditioning alone. Muscular shape and insertions must matter, but a big body will compensate for an ugly physique.
@Ze TheGame no actually Dorian was not like other bodybuilders at all. He was meticulous and organized and methodical with every aspect of bodybuilding. He's talked about this in multiple interviews. If you think Dorian is a dishonest person go watch his London real iinterview's. What reason does he have to lie about what he took? That just makes no fucking sense. He recorded and logged every single workout and protocol to see what did and didn't work. You must not know much about bodybuilding, atleast the competition aspect. Nobody just shoots or intakes amounts without recording doses lol.
@Ze TheGame you know theres such a thing as drug half lifes right? Like how long different compounds with stay in your blood stream and different absorption rates. Fast acting and slow acting. Many different versions of test. Depending on If you're taking test E/P or cipinate or sustanon and many more. Some you need every other day others are slower release and you'll need a shot of test every 3 to 7 days depending on which kind. Please do some research before spouting disinformation because its painfully obvious you're talking out of your ass. No offence...
@@antstockley lol prove it. Dorians about as honest as they come. What reason does he have to lie about how much he used? Exactly how does that make any sense beyond wild speculation and assumptions? What does he gain lying lmfao? Of course he used more then genetic freaks like Ronnie coleman/Flex wheeler and Kevin levrone. Some people are hyper responders, some arent.
@Ze TheGame And I can't explain to you any better at the man actually admitted how much and what he took think what you want that doesn't change the fact that you're wrong.
Steroids can knock 20+ years off your life, and a host of side effects including violent flatulence and the poo poo plops. You get an episode of violent flatulence or the poo poo plops in a busy crowded gym, you'll be sprinting for the bathroom and be so embarrassed you might not want to go back to the same gym.
I wish he would be honest with people about steroid gut. The real beauty of bodybuilding exists in people who don't use them and can do a classic vacuum pose. That gut ruins everything and it's the first thing the eye looks for when people know the aesthetic that came before it. He has a lot to offer but teach your children well. Tell them how not to destroy the true beauty that will and determination can build.
Kudos to you Mr. Yates coming clean. Don’t know why people stand behind the curtain when it comes to roids. You do what you have to do, in this case 6x Olympian
SAMMY THE BULL - FULL INTERVIEW! PLEASE. Please make an exception about it, no small form videos, Everyone will watch the interview in full almost immediately.
And that is exact where it went wrong for bodybuilding, The 90s the era they start with growt hormone. Berry demey and dorian are the same age. In 85 berry won de world games and dorian became 7th. In the 90 where the growt hormone started dorian was the best.So its not all about genetics, Hard work payed off. I still love the 80s era the most.
@ACK Preacher you most be looking at a different physique, back great yeah, forearms Lee priest and Phil heath kill him , and he didn't have the best legs , calves were great but his quads weren't that big .
Well... He basically contradicted himself in the very beginning. First he said he did roids before his first competition and 30 sec later he said he won his first competition as a natural...
I guess you must be some kind of slow person to not understand that he was not considering mr birmingham as a professional bodybuilding championship, so, not the "first competition"
@@gomesdiogo Dude, I know you're a fanboy but he literally contradicted himself. You must be kind of slow person not to understand that he is building his legend. Keep in your slow mind that he added "actually my first competition was Mr Birmingham" after talking about being genetically gifted and superior to others. It's pure marketing. He realised that what he said first didn't put him in a good light so he changed his mind on the go. He may be quite open about the fact he used roids but still he diminishes their role in his career. Arnold does the same, Ronnie does the same. It's business.
