@Rohan Chowdhury lui criticized Phil for his gut for 4-5 years straight , praised guys in the open like Shawn Kev and others alike for having abs and a proper waist line , Shawn came out and called Lui a troll and that there was nothing wrong with Phil winning all these years, the moment Phil lost 2 days later Shawn pops up calling out his gut and how it has been out of line for years now and praising Rhoden for a tight waist . he didnt evolve he just switched sides when it suited him, he isnt disliked in the industry bcs of his honesty , just his behavior over all and how inconsistent he is both professionally and personally . .

I was in love with bodybuilding for probably 13 years but around '17 I just could not dismiss the deaths and unhealthy stories I would hear about these guys. I loved the aesthetic and athletic aspect of it never took the gear myself but I just could not follow along with the shows and gossip of it all anymore and brush it under the rug. Shawn is doing a good thing by speaking out hopefully people listen. Him and the top 5 guys from the 90s were so good they literally influenced thousands and still no one looks better than them lol.. maybe it's time people stop gearing up I think we can get past this all by now

I met Shawn at one of Zeke’s shows in Orlando in the 90’s. He was super nice to me and came across as genuine. He may be a little extra critical when it comes to his color commentary but he is telling the truth no matter how hard that is to hear at times.

I’ve always admired Shawn for his articulate thought-provoking often challenging remarks. I agree with him here that some trainers will push clients to dangerous practices. However, bodybuilding unlike other professional sports sometimes requires heavy life threatening use of PEDs to stay competitive and reach elite levels. There is a psychology regarding competitors where sometimes they’re blind to the risks in pursuit of perfection and pay the price with self destruction. Nobody forces these guys to follow trainers advice. It’s about choices, free choices they are making that involves risks. Doing too much of anything from extreme sports to over consuming McDonald’s can be fatal. But it has to do with those people making choices.

@Gore4ever FulciLives calves were weak as fuck , hamstring did not have "hang" from the side. Quads, although big around the teardrop, did not flare at mid thigh like Wheeler or Wolf. Not wide enough in the upper back and no flare at the lower lats.

I had George Farrah’s help and on my death bed at the Dallas show 2012 I made it to weigh ins then couldn’t get out of bed for 5 days. George never checked on me only Nick from EVOGEN & Sandy Williamson Finally the TRUTH Good shit !!!
