I have been lean like that once, obviously nowhere near as big as that but I went on a survival hiking trip really pushing myself, going up and down steep hills and through swampy terrain for days. The last 2 days hiking out of there I was basically out of food and when I finally got back home and stood in front of the mirror I looked like one of those anatomy pictures of a human without the skin. When I ate I almost immediately felt the fat flowing through my system it felt so good.

After all these years, this man never ceases to amaze me. Every time I look at pictures of him and hear the stories of his epic journey, I’m still awestruck to this day.

Back in high school I used to read flex and muscle mag for their workouts and I read an article from Dorian that always stuck with me 25 years later. Form is everything. It will make you stronger and will help prevent injuries. It’s acceptable to lose form a bit towards the end of your set to get out a few more reps but if you start with bad form because you can’t do it otherwise then you are “mentally masturbating.” With that idea in mind I’ve never been bothered by someone smaller than me doing more weight, whether they are doing it correctly or not because I’m here to do what I can do and not to impress anyone else.

He was my favorite in high school, 20 years later, i still can't be consistent at the gym.
