LaMaude Lewis She never said that, Im sick of u under these videos lying on her trying to make yo own narrative, she said she doesn’t do deception and is not gone get up and sing over their problems ... she said verbatim “it would be nice, because hey, The Hawkins did it”... so stop you look real dumb when its clearly interviews of her saying she would love to sing with them again. Now point me to anywhere where she said she dont wanna sing with them again. 😑 You cant .. so stop the madness you look real sweet and silly.
@@thegospeloutlet2000 thanks for the reply, brings clarity cuz I was wondering, do you know why the other sisters have been saying in interviews that they've reached out to her but she's not ready?
Denise has a lisp in her voice so her voice isnt as heavy as the other sisters so thats why her voice might sound like its in the background and her vocal runs weren't as strong as the others but i LOVE her lisp it makes her unique
Karen wasn't the only one that could've went high... Denise could've go there too.. damn imagine all five of them? Doing those battles? If Denise stayed she would've mastered her craft...
The only ones that ever did the "battles" as you call them were Twinkie, Karen and Dorinda. Neither Jacky nor Denise could sing well enough to "battle" with the other three, and I usually don't even include Dorinda because although she can do lots of runs and riffs, she basically got Mattie's voice and doesn't have enough range to seriously "battle" with Karen and Twinkie.
@@direfranchement SIR HOW DO U SOUND.....Jacky and Dorinda have gone head to head . Dorindas highest note is an Bb5 and Jacky’s is A5 she just doesn’t go up there.
Oh my goodness I was just viewing different videos on here and just happen to come across this beautiful classic that I totally forgot about, I don't know how I played it right off the wax. In those days it wasn't easy for many to maintain the status the Clark sisters did, considering it was the era of choirs that ruled the times. There were many great female groups but almost unnatural to see such a lady whipping the piano and Hammond like Twinkie men were the master players thanx 4 posting.
I love them but got so tired of them younger, my Mother fed us them for BK, LNCH. and Din. hahahaha!) But Thank God for it, now I know Jesus for myself....HIYA!!!!!
lol I think Dorinda was out of breath. A couple of times she didn’t come in when she was supposed to and cut a lot of notes Twinkie and Denise held short. lol
@@keithevwon9085 No need to respond to the negative commentators, except for those who've produced Grammys, Stellers, Gold albums, number one's...etc. It's so easy to anonymously critique another's work on social media, when their every cowardly, pathetic fiber of their existence screams, I'M JEALOUS!! The Clark Sisters career speaks for itself. It makes these low life, non accomplished ass, non career having, wanna be, never was, never will be, fledgling mothafuckas feel good about themselves to make an attempt to put somebody else down who's actually conquered their field. Damn, I guess I did respond. My bad. Lol & Smh
Eric King 😳Wow... I think you went a little too extreme with that comment. I am sorry if you were offended, but if you go back and re-read my statement, I’m sure you’ll find that it was quite mild in nature. I’d hardly call that a negative comment. I was merely making reference to the rawness of recordings found back in the day, as opposed to more current times where technology has allowed us to go back and correct mistakes/imperfections more easily. My account is pretty open, no anonymity. No jealousy here. I’ve been blessed to work in other areas of ministry where I’ve been allowed to freely use my gifts and where what I’ve done for Christ was able to yield fruit in its season. I’ve lived in Detroit all my life and I’ve had the opportunity to support the Clark Sisters many times. I truly love them, their music, and their ministry. I come here regularly because I love to hear Neicey’s voice. 😁
@@slacker0897 No harm. No foul. I am a singer myself, and I get a bit sensitive when it appears that one is critiquing and over analyzing other's work with the proverbial fine toothed comb. I'm just here to enjoy the art, heart and soul, imperfections and all. As Gregory Slack stated, thanks for clearing that up. Peace and love.
@hogan85 because she is singing falsetto. I don't know why people keep saying "Oh Denise! She can sang!" Stop lying. I'm not bashing her but call it what it is. She can barely keep up with her sisters. In terms of singing ability in the clark girls family, she is at the bottom. She is ok [on the lower end] but she wasn't all what ya'll be saying. The Clarks got better when she left. She sings like her mother but weirder. Love me some Mattie. That's it! Denise sounds like a Moss not a Clark.
toomuchfourU The Moss family is where they there singing gift came from there Uncle Bill Moss first got them recording also his son J Moss is a awesome singer As for there father The late Elbert Clark I don't know Of him singing or any of his family other than his daughters who made the Clark name
