+Rob Chapman And here I thought it was mostly Bea having an influence on you with all those maqam semitones. Turns out you're not actually trying for the Arabian Nights style; you just can't see the fretboard, so you're feeling your way along, lel. Still think White Dove is your best track so far (holy shit Dave), but man the ambience here. And yes, your vocal work is strengthening crazy too. Keep this level of real up, and who knows where you'll end up. Oh, and I'm really hoping I'll be able to get my hand on a Norseman some time this year as well. Not sure what shipping options are available, but worst case I'll just drive across the border over to Norway...

+Austin Washington yeah, i saw a comment Dave placed on one of the recent bass videos on Rob's channel in which Dave said it was his sig bass and he was going to use it in a next shoot. I don't think it's a standard MLB bass. The color of the body is more yellow (whereas the standard one has the brown of the bubinga) and it has different pick ups in it :) I'm not the type of guy to buy signature instruments, because I think it's important to find your own sound, but I'm always interested in learning about the specs :) maybe one of these days, we'll see it in full action, as Rob shows more interest in bass now :)

+hoshino They can still fuck it up though, the mix on the new version of Aeromancy is just atrocious. This is miles better, but the vocals are a bit close IMO. The musicianship and songwriting are on point though. Looking forward to hearing them live in Guildford.

Im starting to feel Dorje for the first time in this track. I think a heaver mix for the music compared to the vocals would be more fitting to my ear. Like mastodon? Not a criticism, just an uneducated opinion from a fan.

this is actually a really good song! the melody is cool, the breakdown works fine and the mixing looks awesome. There are a few parts that overstay their welcome a bit but I don't think it is a prblem in this genre. gj rob! keep it up

That's fair enough dude, as someone with high end gear yourself I'm sure you understand it's worth checking such things. I'm sure you're all to familiar with people making low end complaints after listening through apple ear buds or similar! To clarify my comment, it's not a huge low end, but I don't find the whole mix brittle. I suppose that's where the subjectivism comes in :)

Rob said that when the second ep comes out, then they'll release a vinyl with both EPs on either side. Also, if you don't want to fuel Apple, you could buy it from Amazon. That's what I did.

I can feel the energy in these track in a way that makes me feel like I can see the horizon opening up for you as a group the same way I hope you all are seeing and feeling. Great feeling for a supporter/fan since the first videos! Congrats guys.

This just gave me extreme chills. The hair on my arms is standing up like I've been struck by lightning and the goosebumps are just ridiculous.The song is incredibly amazing and the video turned out fantastic.

Man, it SOUNDS just superb, brilliant, but again the song itself is just sort of meh - a bit pop, the break is awesome the rest is kinda banal, but hey it seems to work so who cares what I think. A bunch of haters of this comment is who haha. I totally love the sound you have - dead thick and very British. Good on yer. And I do watch Rob and Cap'n a lot. Bought a baritone guitar as a result.

Honestly, great song Rob!! And that breakdown in the middle was EPIC, I felt every note and understood this song, hard to find these days. Keep up the good work, no idea why you're not playing festivals, high up the bill! Great stuff Dorje, loving it!

Can't quite put my finger on what band I'm hearing. It sounds like some '90s grunge like Pearl Jam or Soundgarden; cool stuff. Definitely heavier though, especially that bridge!

Normally not much of a ballad'y guy. But that repeating melodic phrase in the chorus, raising in pitch is AWESOME. Feel it in my balls. Gotta say, Chappers. Those singing chops have come a long way. You're damn good! Like fucking hell. I think it might actually be my favourite Dorje song thus far.

I think ppl only complain about rob up front is cuz we know him too good now from the channel being pry the nicest funniest witty jammin musicians around, so his movements and character while singing in these vids is kinda more nice guy down to earth looking than fitting the style of the music or something. Hard to explain, but his voice, and the band is great, this isn't realy my style but I could have this cranked in my house and be satisfied, and I'm picky as fuck. Good song Rob!
