That was my go to park for many years, through my teenage years that was the only park my family would go to. It definitely holds a special place in my heart.

Iron Menace was definitely a good choice (in my opinion). It’s a capacity machine, and B&Ms are reliable as heck.

Thank you - great video! We were just there for the first time last month and loved it. Very solid ride lineup. I loved riding Demon Drop for the first time in 30 years (I used to ride it at Cedar Point). Possessed - my favorite there. I liked both front and back, but back was definitely best for us! Thanks again!

My family visited for the first time last year and loved it! Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express across the street and the people and property were excellent.

It’s no secret that Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom is such an amazing park!! 😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️ When you have a collection of roller coasters, dozens of family attractions and an impressive water park that helps cool you down during the hot summer months, it’s hard to have a bad day here. Let me tell you, I can’t wait to see what type of investment could come to the park in the next few years. 😃😃👌🏻

Thank you!! My grandma took me and my sister when we was our kids age. We are more excited than they are to take them back there. We are in our 30s like no guys you don’t understand these parks are the parks to go to when you can’t get to Florida. We always had a great time! I had to show her this video so daughter know what to expect.

Dorney is a park I cannot get enough of! Most enthusiasts I know prefer to only spend 2-3 hours at the park only focusing on the credits, however for me I want to spend the whole day at that park and do everything including the waterpark, most of the flat rides and of course get a night ride on Steel Force! In all honesty I would not be upset if this park was my home park! That being said I hope the park builds a multi-looping launch coaster for there next coaster! Maybe something built by Mack Rides and have it be built where Dinosaurs Alive once stood?

My favorite part of the Intamin impulse coasters is the drop from the back spike after the strongest backward launch (riding in the back of course). Wicked Twister was the best, but the straight spikes are awesome too, especially with the holding brake. The largest drop backward in the front of the train is fun too, just not quite as much as the forward drop in the back. Dorney looks like a couple more woodies would round out the lineup and then a new coaster/flat every few years.

You're in my backyard. Dorney has always been a nice park. It is not a "big" park, but packs a great punch for its size. As you mentioned great kids and family areas/rides. Nice collection of rides from the 1900-1920 a great boom of rides 1980's, and modern rides as well. Not a stellar coaster collection, but a very solid and well rounded collection of 1 of a kind coasters. I love steel force and Talon. (Talon's secret sauce to its smoothness, is the track was filled with sand, to keep the "Roar" down for the local residents..

I haven't been to Dorney Park in years. when I was younger and in the YMCA at the end of year every year they would take all the campers to Dorney Park. If you remember the rollers Laser and Laser ll thats how long its been for me haha.

Dorney is my home park. My favorite is definitely Steel Force. It’s one of my favorite rollercoasters, and I’ve been on a lot. Sure it may be pretty basic, just an out-and-back layout but the simple lapbar restraints and seatbelt allow for you to actually come off the seat a bit during the airtime (which there is a decent amount of) as opposed to other restraints you’d find on B&Ms or Intamins.

I was just there today and it is by far the most underrated amusement I have ever been in my entire life. It is definitely not the best park in Pennsylvania because Hershey exists.

Was just there this weekend. Will never go back. Their ADA pass for my wheelchair using daughter wouldn't allow her on any roller coasters. Despite the fact that we have been to KI, CP, and Great America with no issues. Apparently, she can ride Valravn, Banshee, Raptor, Gatekeeper, but not Talon, Hydra, or Iron Menace. Not to mention how untrained most employees were. Literally my worst visit to a park ever.

Sorry you had that bad experience. It sounds like a very specific issue though and that you were not pleased with the parks ride policies than the actual park being bad. Every park is different so I would check ahead of time in future visits to parks so you don’t run into the same problems.

@@AFCompany I had many people reach out to me with their own bad ADA experiences with the park. Yes, it's the park policies that are bad. Sure, I probably should have called ahead. But since my 2 home Cedar Fair parks give us no issues, I didn't expect crappy Dorney to be such a problem. Regardless, I stand by my statement to never go back to the worst Cedar Fair park out there.

I’ve been to Dorney last week compared to cedar point, and Knotts and Kings island, while iron Menace and Talon, and Steel Phantom are good rides, the park felt like an neglected six flags park, the immersion wasn’t good, and felt cheap Wild mouse is the worst coaster, some team members behave like six flags team members, one operator of the kids coaster gave me the death Look, but the food hasn’t have options, chickies and Pete’s is the good one, but It was a mid park

@@SurflinerBoy455 Dorney feels like a mini Cedar Point. It’s an amusement park not a theme park so I’m not sure what immersion you are referring to. It is one of the more beautiful parks in the chain and doesn’t feel cheap at all. It feels homey and classic. History is very important to them and they aren’t looking to have a modern feel. It doesn’t feel as neglected as it just feels like wasted potential. The park has everything going for it but has always seemed like Cedar Fair just won’t make that next leap with the park. The wild mouse does suck. I hope it is replaced soon. From my experience workers tend to be friendly but obviously there are always a few bad ones at any park. I would say it is mid compared to Hershey but has a better water park. Compared to Great Adventure it is a more complete park but has no stand out rides like Great Adventure. It truly just does everything well enough but needs to be brought up to the next level.
