Since the Headline & Description don't appear in a lot of placements, I keep vital info out of those fields. I put the offer+product and the other stuff you mention in this video in the Primary text, before the text gets cut off. In the Headline I put a CTA like 'Buy it now!', that works well for me for ecom... did some testing on that. I keep it under 25 characters so that the description field also is visible where I can put other stuff like 20% OFF ProductX, Limited stock, etc. I depend on the Ad creative to communicate everything else.
1. Be descriptive 2. Keep it simple 3. Highlight the offer 4. Sell with generic/industry-specific adjectives to spice up your offer 5. Do NOT write headlines that get cut off Thanks Ben! 🇯🇲
Should we use the headline option? Meaning throwing a few options and letting Facebook decide? or should we test one by one ourselves? Thanks Ben, I've been learning so much from you! can't wait to make the business a bit bigger and finally use your services
I find that keeping it simple gets more hits.. like selling a canopy,,I post canopy and thats all.If I write in 10x10 canopy new red color,It dos'nt show up in search very good when people search for canopy,,it ends up way down in the search results somewhere.
Headlines aren't supposed to tell your entire story - they're simply meant to grab visitors' attention and make them want to click your ad to learn more.
hi have you seen this facebook new rule ? "Primary text longer than 280 characters may result in fewer conversions." should I follow that rule or what should be the average characters for my primary text ?
Usually you said that you copy every ads in different ads set with different targeting. But as you said in this video ward and cold audience needs different headlines. How do you do that? You copy the same ads in different adset and then change only the headline?
Bit off topic Ben but would you customise your ads for different placements? I noticed that Facebook is doing this more and more automatically so not sure if it’s still worth it or not?
Have you noticed recently that Facebook ad costs are really high? I thought after Black Friday they would drop again but it doesn’t seem to be the case
Hi Haley, I wouldn't say we're seeing unusually high costs. Things have come down a bit after black friday but we still have all the Christmas campaigns keeping prices higher than the rest of the year.
Hi Ben, in general what is your preference between the two: LAL of 300 ATCs LAL of 5000 page views (No access to purchase, my pixel placed on someone's landing page as a favor, but not on thank you page ) Product: software People coming from email list (proper opt-ins) In your experience, which one between the 2 works better (consindering that there is nearly 20x more data on pageviews)? But yes I will be testing both. I just love to hear your opinion, off the top of your head, based on your vast experience
Hey Ben I don't know why I was removed form the fb group can I please be reinstated? It was such a help for answering some body my questions I have about fb ads.
Hi Gareth, one of our moderators most likely saw you do something that broke the rules - did you publish anything self promotional? If you send us a Facebook Message (to our Page) the moderators will look into it for you.
It depends on how good your results are. If you are generating incredible results then you can start to scale after 7 days. If results are good but nothing to get excited about then you probably want to wait 2-4 weeks before starting to do so.
